So on the third note of every chord in the verse, the third note is two notes plucked at the same time. So for the first chord in the song, you pick the D string, then the B, and then you pick G and E at the same time. So If I pretend that the top 4 strings of the guitar are labeled as D=4 G=3 B=2 E=1, The pattern goes like this. 4 > 2 > 3+1 > 2 > 4 > 1 > 3. That pattern is the same for the entire verse. Although the very first chord in the song goes from 4 > 3+1 in that pattern but it really doesn't matter. I hope that's not super confusing, but hopefully it helps!

And yeah with Talking to Mary I find some of those arpeggiations in the intro quite hard to decipher so just gloss over them unfortunately. I'd still like to see your take on it though when you get a chance, and looking forward to those others too.
