- Shounter Lake Vlog is Out!!! 😍
This is the first vlog of Kashmir Diaries and I'm sure you don't want to miss it. Shounter valley is a sub valley of Neelum Valley, located in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan at the elevation of 3,100 meters. Shounter lake is a scenic lake located in the valley. The lake is fed by the surrounding mountains glacial waters and is also known as spoon lake due to its spoon like shape.

well, great adventure, i did it on jeep in 2011 i guess and then hiked to Shounter lake, its one of the finest valleys we have here. A must go place.
So nice of those bikers helping you guys.
Also difficult terrain for specially a 110cc engine. Job well done.
Definitely a must go place, you should try it on bike now 😅 the track was difficult but worth it, so much to learn on such tracks. Anyway thank you so much 🙏🏼😇

Great ride for both of you. I am a biker also, living in the U.S. but originally from Lahore. I ride a Honda ST1300. I have visited these areas as a teenager with my father, in an army jeep. Your video is giving me the desire to go there again on a bike. Good job

OMG Ghazal tum Shounter bhi ho aayi!!!! Its a very tough track for motorcycles, even tougher than Noori or Ratti. However the prettiest spot in the Shounter valley is the last village just a couple of kms ahead of the lake with a small tent settlement offering semi decent facilities at a reasonable price. A days hike up the Shounter pass is just out of this world giving you a view of Astore valley Rattu side.

Excellent Ghazal and Papa ji. One observation & riding tip:
Your bikes are light weight which are excellent for off roading. But with low CC, HP capacities and air-cooled you are loading your bikes too much. Moreover the side loads seem to be loose. That can off balance you. So just be careful. Otherwise you duo are amazing. Masha Allah! Ride safe and keep riding.

Hats off to your & Baba's travel spirit. My dream is to ride to and through Pakistan (land of my ancestors) one day. Hope they will let us do so. And hope you and Baba can discover/explore India on your bikes. Otherwise out here we have all sorts of motor bikes available from 100CC to 2500CC. So be our guests.
