Hi Brian to a family on a week long annual vacation, payiny $30 to $40 or more a night is affordable. BUT for a full time van dweller this adds up to berween $1000 to $2000 per year. Definitely not good for a low or fixed incone. At least out "west" BLM land makes this a lot more affordable .Have a nice day. Tom up in Canada in the Maritimes at the NB-NS border

Great list. Totally agree with all of it. I was in BV about the same time as you were and found the heat and bugs (ants and fly's) were no joke! I hope you stay at it and keep producing vids. On to the next adventure!!

I would have been cool if we could have hooked up while we were both in BV. Maybe next time down the road. Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the support.

It is good to hear there are still good people out there !!! I just don’t care for flies can handle the rest !! Number 2 this is when it is good to be short 5”3 LOL but I hit my shins on everything lol !! Everyday we should be learning something if not well I don’t think we are living !! I love the end of your video !! You can turn around or I would meet you in my Toyota and do it together so you have company !! I am just to chicken to drive to far by myself !! I am a tough gal but some reason traveling alone seems scary I am sure it builds character and you learn a lot about yourself ect ! I am going to be 51 this coming Tuesday and I to wish I had done what you are doing and more !! Stay safe and do you burn a candle outside to keep bugs away ? I don’t like putting bug stuff on my body either !guess the saying the grass isn’t always greener on the other side you still gots to mow it !! Is fair to say every where we might go no matter how we go or what not !! !!! Can you listen to music while you sit by your van outside ? This is how I get through my loneliness, well it helps LoL !! I dance around the house and the dogs look at me like I am nuts especially when I am talking to myself and just carrying on and may have few cuss words here and there MF darn it CS after I bang my shin on stuff !! Sorry I am such a rambler !! Take care out there !!

Bumping your head on things, no one talks about this. My first few weeks I hit my head several times a day. It got so bad I had to decide on getting a helmet or adding a hightop? I invested in a hightop but I still bumped my head.
    Solution…POOL NOODLES !!!
You can place them everywhere you’re prone to bump your head!!! I have them everywhere 😅
    Good Luck 🍀
P.S. End of summer is the best time to buy them. Walmart will reduce them to 50 cents…look for a deal and then get I few 😂

@4yellowwolf Good call I just got better at ducking and not wearing a hat inside. But I still bumped my head pretty often

Don’t like scorpions. You didn’t mention snakes, being in Colorado that could be a risk. Do you ever get insects getting in the war van? Wouldn’t like that.

I get some flies really and mosquitoes, but that's about it. You have to be aware of when you leave your doors open and when you keep them closed..
