I recently started learning Steel Panther tracks because of your massive love for Satchels guitar work (I've listened to them for years, too) and he has a lot of different techniques in his playing which I can learn from while playing something fun, at the same time. So, thanks, Cam and keep up the good work !
That is an awesome lick! Once again, your speed is insane and quite inspiring from a musical standpoint. Very impressive! After seeing Malmsteen several months back I have had a growing interest in neoclassical music. I can play a hand full of classical guitar pieces for nylon, but playing something with this speed on an electric, in a neoclassical rock/metal style is still quite new to me. I will be learning this lick without doubt sir. Thank you for sharing!
Cameron, Stumbled on your videos surfing youtube. Thanks for all the great videos. You are very inspirational and love that you are willing to share your knowledge. Just want to know why you are not out on stage entertaining us all with live music. You are as good as any others out there doing it. I can see that you love playing. Waiting for a live show!!!
You are awesome really... Please use a standard tuning guitar when showing a lick to make it easier for us to follow with you... I love your channel you are a beast!!!!
hey this reminds me of alex skolnick..listen to eerie inhabitants..from new world order( weird how far ahead of their time they were) if you havent heard testament you will love alexs playing immediately. since you are a guitarist. that is...youll definitely see similar patterns and shapes..and his vibrato is awesome..hope you read your comments...i think you are a great player, enjoy your channel very much...and the guitar community is growing better and better everyday...thanks for sharing and taking your time out of your day to do all these great videos for us.
I love your licks, sorry because I Don t no speak english but always I see you and to learn good wonderful licks Thanks my friend Hugs since Brazil Obrigado por compartilhar tuas ideias! God bless you and your family....ahhh , and your fingers hahahaha
Awesome. Really enjoying your videos! I just ran into you on RUclips in the last day or so. I'm now subscribed! Please post a link if you have a video on effects settings. I like your sounds. Cheers!
Hi Cameron !...great licks one more time !....just a little information...what's the pick you're using ?...Dunlop Jazz3 ?....Thanck you 😊...take care !
Nice lesson ! Correct me if i'm wrong but your little pedal point motif is shifted down a fifth then up a fourth right ? Instead of shifting the pattern down a note like we often see, here it's down a fifth and up a fourth ?
ok dude thats enough! STOP playing guitar! You are too good! ill bet if you stopped playing guitar for like a week and focused on world problems, you could solve all the worlds problems!
I've got the technical chops to make this easy enough, but the motivation to sit and learn it is another thing. I'll bite the bullet on this one as it incorporates a host of tastiness.
Sneaking some Steel Panther in there? :)
Ah... you just said it, I was speaking too early!
Jesus! Mate, I need you to teach me this as I can't keep pressing stop and go and rewinding the clip on RUclips. Respect from Sydney Australia.
Gabriel Johannson ha ha I have the same problem, van slow down the video speed to x0.25 though
Im 14 and live in western sydney aswell

Thanks been working on my neoclassical lately with my arpegios this will help al lot
There is no such a thing called neoclassical but only music theory for chords movements.
You are a great player and teacher. Thanks cameron

This is great. I was the biggest Yngwie fan for the longest time. I still appreciate the genre though. ;)

i always liked to play a lick like this, but imagine the 2nd and 4th patterns an octave higher. i never thought about playing it this way before!
Cycle of 5ths in E minor. Nice!
Great lesson, thanks. 😃

What is the first part based on? The one before tapping?
Asian Hooker - Steel Panther

The full tab pleased?
Would u recommend playing it with the small finger , pinky, or I cant get as fast as with the ring finger??
As long as you're playing the correct notes, it doesn't matter which fingers use
Show how to play the first part you played at the begining of the vid. The part before the pedalpoint lick. Starting frome 0 to about 18 seconds in.
I may do soon. I have no idea what I would call the vid so people would watch it though aha
@@CameronCooper sweet!

Let people play the guitar,Greta Thunberg does this.

What gear are you using to get that tone?
A Yamaha THR10X

Keep practicing
I don’t think I’ll ever play this good I mean I’m only 8 months in but damn I can play it just fingers aren’t that fast
