Melody Young he was dead for awhile and then he comes back from 1994 prison world btw it’s season six they both died in s5 and Elena came back Damon didn’t cause didn’t make it to anchor in time comes back alive am Elena back in love with him without her memories then when she takes the cure and becomes human memories back boom then Elena gets put in coma but gets out eventually hint they are endgame
