Mind Against further their fruitful relationship with Afterlife as their cinematic, compulsively danceable single ‘Dreamcast’ drops, following their 2021 'Changes' EP.
‘Dreamcast’: a thumping beat and fuzzy synths launch house heaven, lent gravitas by anthemic slow choral chords, as off-beat clanging notes trip up and intrigue the mind and the relentless speed makes dancing compulsory. Euphoric builds and drops kickstart brain chemical production and bookend breaks with blizzards of portentous synth phrases.
Missing this sounds, for me the best stage of this label.

I wouldn't say that about this track, but there are some recent others that I must agree unfortunately...
Easy and simple melody. Gimmicky highs that go nowhere, that break into nothing. Endless silences that break the mood... What happened to Mind Against and the Afterlife label? You just have to listen to the first reference released on Afterlife by Mind Against (the serious beautiful "Solaris") and this one, and the involution becomes palpable. Afterlife's current ridiculous sound is truly pitiful. Deeply disappointed.
Agreed 100%. I don't get it how one can go from producing dark dystopian epics like "Solaris" to these happy little EDM beats...
