It's over Johnny, IT'S OVER!!!... Nothing is over! Nothing! You just don't turn it off... One of the best portrayals of PTSD ever seen. So far ahead of its time, and it helped many vets to understand their pain and to be understood. If you are a vet, or know vets who suffer, just try and hold back the tears wrought from injustice. I miss when the country could look at itself with critical honesty and at least try to fix what was broken. Now??? Bye bye American pie.

    • @cameronbowes7171
      @cameronbowes7171 Месяц назад +1

critical honesty. Good, but not enough. It's not blood and soil. It's math and speech. Embarrassing to think you can't solve everything with grit, but it's true.
and what I mean by that is that a lot of people were fighting each other, not an enemy
and if you think i meant the boogiemen of politics try their job once if you have the ..........
it is entirely seemly that a young man, mangled by a bronze spear, uh I forget
It is entirely seemly for a young man killed in battle to lie mangled by the bronze spear. In his death all things appear fair. there
      sorry for the smart assness
      law of averages
      noun
(statistics) The statistical tendency toward a fixed proportion in the results when an experiment is repeated a large number of times; the law of large numbers.
(informal) An imaginary or perceived "law" of probabilities which is wrongly used to predict results in the short-term.
      something about this
seemly is entirely imagined. predict a fixed populations peace with averaging culture art law sciences meaning resource proportion yada etcetera
rig the game so to speak
it is entirely seemly to lie such as people think it is true, cheat such as everyone finds it ammusing, steal such as anyone doesn't really care
sigh... guess I should try and communicate what I see as the modern culture war
so the stuff about minorities is actually gloss and foreplay
the real issue is rebalancing focus onto losers now that traditional economic success is unattainable by a natural sacrifice of idk what, but nothing much for cooperation
so the real issue is the following matrix
      fm................................male
      light humble poverty
      tan jail humiliate
      m..................................female
this is the cultural dynamic of diversity/victim or out group blah blah blah
the whole of the planet is going through like a mid life crisis where technology is too much
describe that as saying What's the point?
the smart answer is proofs and the dumb one is consumerism
the smart people with proofs made it rich off the crypto scams and the more humble and wise just said this science stuff is too cold and moved into humanities
      advertisement or whatever
and then the consumerists who got wise decided it's boiling them like a soft shell crab so they get out and toughen up some
the dumb ones just become hedonistic
could describe where the psychosis and schizophrenia come in, but nah.

Same here. Each day is a struggle, each day potentially the last. The pain, the angst, the getting up knowing it probably won't get better in the long run. Constantly feeling sick, feeling dizzy, meds taking their toll, in and out of hospitals, frustration, anger, shame and indignity. So, what is there to fight for at the end of the day? What will keep us going, regardless of how hard it gets? "Live For Nothing, Or Die For Something"...We simply cannot give up on ourselves. We take the hits and have to get back in the game - On and on until we win... or the chances are spent. Let us go down in blaze of glory each day until the last day. Take good care of yourself and may the rest of your life be a glorious one!

First because my dad was a Ranger in the mid 1970's to late 1980's, and second because I served in the military myself and know what it's like to be treated like trash just like my old man, only by the government when you're trying to get the help you need. Granted what he went through was far worse, he came home from leave a lot time to our own civilians who called him a baby killer and wouldn't even serve him in airports.

Have you succeeded in bringing democracy to Iraq or found any mass destruction weapons ?
Unfortunately politicians use people to reach their goals

This is really nice, thanks for sharing. Im just imagining how much better this audio would be overdubbed on a live scenic video of a vast forest and rivers. Maybe you can make a part 2:) This is great though.

Rambo, on top of so many things such as PTSD (war, life and work) shows nothing matters. Things you believe in, stand by can be reduced to nothing in second when all your value system to pulled out from under you. Good people are punished while the evil ones live on without owning anything!

It’s hard because in the military it becomes your life. There’s soldiers and civilians. I came out not long ago and I started my own business, got kids now and don’t really keep touch with the lads I served with. Once you leave that’s it you sort of go your own ways. My wife’s my best friend and only friend. You feel so alone. I was working on a site with some lads they have different crack. You walk into an army barracks you feel like you’re part of something. You walk into a job full of Civis you just don’t feel like you belong there. Like your the odd one out. Only soldiers would understand. It’s like I couldn’t socialise with them and I heard them talking about me laughing saying I was weird etc but then when your in the army you sort of command respect and self confidence. It’s weird. We mostly all struggle.

Best listened to when walking out and about, it's cold yet prefer to brave it than having to feel the heat of Antagonistic Family Members whining and projection. When the World fights You, it's the long road to winning in this Game of Life, because the harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.
