I should have got something similar as well, I bough one of the cheapest OBD readers for VW, and it cant read the codes, only clear them, oh and btw I managed to replace timing belt by following your instructions, engine runs without an issues.

I got one does and looks exactly the same what U have seen here its half way cheaper and with for life upgrade "Icarsoft VAG2" downside its only for VW AUDI SEAT SKODA but that's the BEST makes anyway. check it
For VAGs, I quite like Foxwell NT500, that's the first one I had. Then I got Autel Maxidiag that scans all the systems.. However, best for VAGs is VCDS.
How much scanner?
I have the same one bought 5 years ago .. love it ... only thing i wish it could do is Battery Registration.
Yeah, and DPF re-gen would be handy..
8:11 Mine (Launch 129 - touch screen 2022 edition) does not have the Brake system!!! Guess they listened to you but only to remove it from the package!!!!!!
Can I check my injectors with it? Like for example what number do my fuel injectors give?

I don't have that for few years now, I think that one was pretty basic, but they can come with different software. I don't have any experience with Autel AP200.

It has way fewer capabilities. It all depends on what you need from your scanner.

Yes it support but depend on your car model.

I have button with "open book" symbol there. Just played with it, not sure what it does. I don't have any OBD codes in my car, maybe it could be somehow related to them. When I get other codes up, that button doesn't seem to do anything..

I have recently bough one launch CRP 129 unfortunately i didn't work on Mercedes benz c240 w202... I bought thr adapter converts from 16 pin to 38 it didn't work have got any idea in how to make it work
I don't have this scanner anymore, so I can't help you, sorry.. Maybe try to speak to people who sold it to you?

I don't have it for a while. As I remember, it had limited access, it couldn't access all controllers - just some important ones. I will not do Autoscan as VCDS does.

The s/n number and there are a number of subtle differences between them. Like i said iv'e no doubt thats a capable bit of kit. Plus Launch don't ship from that address from the amazon link.
How they manage to sell it legally? Like Amazon? Does Launch know about it?
WheelsAndMotors if you search pretty much anywhere they are for sale. It's that widespread it's pretty much impossible to keep track. The chances are it's made in the same factory but if you send yours to Launch they will destroy it as stated in the small print.
Cheeky people... It is quite capable, I've used it few times on few cars. But for the price they asking for it - I believe I could buy something more useful... Or maybe I'm just not good with estimates.

I think so. Filter should be changed regularly anyway. I had similar problem on high rpm on my diesel Audi, when I didn't change filter for a while. At least it worth trying.
