This is the first model of yacht that Lexus has created. It starts at a base price of $3.74M USD. Pretty cool!
Never knew Toyota made Yacht's/Boats.
4 million isn't really that much for a high end sports yacht. Go check out the Aquaholic channel, and you will find several similar yachts at 5-10 million range.
@@Omar-em7rl They designed the boat but carver boats built it.
You could buy an island with it though 🙄
@@Ne0c225 4m carver, bwahahahahaha!
Thanks for getting my yacht to me safely! 👍🏻⚓️

If the cargo ship sinks, forget the lifeboats, I am jumping on that yacht!

Generally over 30m is a superyacht, that is a sports yacht, and is pretty cool
Over 30m is NOT a superyacht. Over 100m is a superyacht.
James The Captain over 100m is a megayacht
Boat shown in the video is Pershing/Viking size, so a sport yacht. There is no defined number between what is and what isn’t, but a super yacht sweet spot is within that 40-50m, and is the most popular segment in yachts. A Conrad 133 is a perfectly sized and designed super yacht
@@tlamy121 Yacht then Mega Yacht then Super yacht. People calling 80ft boats "Super yachts" is just a new fad. But hey to each their own. But generally captains refer to boats over 280' to 300' super yachts. And then say 180' to 280' is a mega yacht. And then just under 180' is a yacht. Calling an 80' yacht a super yacht because it's fast or looks cool is just not correct. But to each their own....👍
My neighbor has a super yachts I sometimes go on it. It may seem cool at first but I actually prefer smaller yachts as it actually feels like yachts instead of a cruise ship
Your ship was above the speed limit. I'm calling the Water Police.
Sorry
111 what's your emergency 😂
JeffHK you got lucky, sooner or later hopefully you’ll meet the Somali Coast Guard and pay your dues for our water. Until then stay cocky and arrogant that way you won’t be prepared. 😂
Dee The Somali coast guard? Yeah right. Just a bunch of corrupt idiots on jet skis more like. 😂

But... but the earth is flat and the sky monster is real!
Nice Video. So a yacht becomes a super yacht when the water line length is greater than 24 metres. Super Yacht is 24m - 3000GT then a MegaYacht is 3000GT-10,000GT and a GigaYacht is 10,000GT+
Thanks Capt!
JeffHK been following your channel since before I started mine. Keep up the great content. 👍
Working on superyachts is so much cooler!! 😍😍
JeffHK it’s a very different world that’s why I love watching your videos because it’s a different inside onto the maritime industry. Both have positives and negatives

Those little attention to details in the video like drawing great circle track while crossing the Atlantic rather than drawing just a straight line, totally impressed. Love your vlogs Jeff.
Hey Jeff
It's my 1st cadetship and as like you we also did the same ..It was yatch took it from Italy now going to Busan ...You're videos are amazing dude keep it up !!!👍👍👍

Another great video. Especially liked seeing the yacht prep, the dolphins and the maps! Loved the maps, it was helpful to see where you were going and where you came from. Also great to see the containers being off-loaded, and pictures of you all geared up for work. The whole video was just great. Fantastic video vlog. Thank you for sharing your life.

Agreed! 👏
Every video gets better and better. I love your piracy defense technique. Unbelievable that boat can go that fast. Your photography is second to none. Happy you are taking advantage of the time you have on these ships. See you next time
Thanks man!
I really enjoy the good old vlogs! Interested in seeing how you guys are dealing with the Virus in the next video!
I love your videos, Jeff, especially the time-lapse parts. I often wish my father could have seen them. He was in the U.S. Merchant Marine as a young man (like 18-19 years old) in 1945-46 or 47 on a T-2 tanker. I know that he always wanted to have the opportunity to get back to sea, but never quite managed it before cancer took him in 2001. I'm not a sailor and not really interested, but watching these videos helps me remember my dad.
Thanks Tim!

I have always loved the night timelapse also love watching the clouds just float on by in the sky.
Seeing your vlogs make my heart flutter because I want to become like you working in a ship. Your vlogs are amazing and give us more information on what is life in board, Im currently bsmt 2nd yr student btw :))
The time lapse of the night sky is beautiful. Thank you for sharing!!!
As someone working with export for a Ocean Alliance company in Sweden I think it's great seeing how Corona affects you on the ships.
Must be very tense in SE Asian ports.
Thanks for the video!
This is the only channel RUclips needs tbh. It's awesome!
I agree! The timelapse from Vietnam is breathtaking! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love your videos! My favorite parts are the night sky out at sea, so awesome! In all my years I never ever had an interest in going to sea, working on a ship etc. But your videos are super interesting combining the many aspects of how a ship works, training, maritime business, and countless little details that 99.9% of the world have no idea about. Look forward to your next video.

The timelapses of travel are always fascinating, yet soothing in their own way.... thanks for making them!!
I had whatsoever no interest at what happens at sea, until... I came across your channel. Now, I have all the interest at what happens at sea. Very informative videos! I’m watching your channel the way I used to watch series on Netflix. Keep up the amazing work!
I love your vids! I can imagine it being awesome just you, the sea, the ship, the sun and the clouds and nothing else around you!
Those time lapse sections are amazing. Would love to see more of it. Thanks for taking the time to upload!
Thats super cool that u tell people around the world about ur adventures!
I always look forward to your new videos. The night shots during the time lapse are amazing.

Hey Jeff. Hope you are safe and hope all is well with the crew! Once again you have nailed the explanation how we see stars in the night sky at sea. Have a great week hope to see you next week!
Another smash hit Jeff we do not see the stars like that often in the UK at this time of year, weather don"t you know. Thank you.
Really good took me back a few years to the time i spent in the merchant navy thank you for posting
Excellent time-lapse and I like the low-tech map too. Another great video.
I love your videos. They are really one of its kind. I'd love it if you upload more often. Cheers

Its so cool watching how the stars just roll across the sky during the night
Jeff, I enjoyed the time lapses in this video a lot more because your watermark wasn't close to the middle of the frame. For your next full-length time lapse, I'd strongly recommend keeping it in the corner (or as close as you're comfortable with), like you did with the map here. Good stuff, man! Keep it up!
Hi Jeff.

While in Hawaii we went to a planetarium where they explained how the ancient Maori navigators found their way around by using the stars at night, I would recommend it next time you set foot near Honolulu. What is still a mystery is what happened 2500 years ago when Maori sea travel basically stopped.

I always enjoy these videos. You guys stay safe!
The opening port in Charleston is right next to where I live. I think I remember seeing your boat when crossing the bridge.
Very nice video, Thanks you. In the early 70's, I joined my very first ship, I spent 2.5 years on it so I could gather enough sea time to go for my 2nd mate exam. Later I joined a British ship and the tour of duty was 3 months on/1.5 month off. Captain was 3 months on/3 months off. I stayed there for 3.5 months and I got extra compensation for the additional 0.5 month of stay. Then I worked on an oil tanker flying Liberian flag, and basically you can work there as long as you want to but most people spent 9 months or less there.
Can't ask more as a Sailor, Awsome vlog Mate, thanx again to bring me close to our Sea life through this video, Hats off to you, 🙂
Loved the dolphins!
