did you hear about the new slender game called splendor duel? 'Splendor Duel is a two-player-only standalone game based on Splendor that retains some of the main gameplay mechanisms of that design, while being a bit more complex, dynamic, interactive, rich, tense, and mean. The game features a main board shared by both opponents, card powers, and three victory conditions.'
Let's say there's a stack of 4 black and 3 white gem, and that's all. Can I take 1 black and 1 white gem , even if there is no third color available? Or am I obliged to instead take 2 black?
If you go first, you decide the strategy. After 2 or 3 other players end their turn, you targeted cards and coins are gone already 😅. How to solve that ?
I would recommend never reserving more than two level three cards unless you are all the positive that you will be able to buy one of the reserved cards in the near future. I can tell you from experience that it is very unlikely You will have a reserved card (even an expensive one) that you are never able to buy even if you try saving up for it.
1:58 Is it not true that if I reserve a level-3 card like these, my opponent is likely to take the gems and level-1 card/s that I want? They will be able to play those small cards eventually, but I may be stuck with the more expensive card for the whole game.
i'm wondering about the same thing. happens to me all the time. I'd love to see how she plays her turns 4 to 10 stuck with 3 expensive cards and 3 yellow tokens that shes not allowed to spend
Reserving level 3 cards only good for 4 players games. With 2 players games you should target on level 2 cards. And in my thinking, u shouldn’t reserve 3 cards at the same time if u can’t buy to get tuck.
Great video. Although it's hard to hear without subtitle, I absolutely admire your courage, and the content is great too. Thanks for making!
I got a champion from splendor tournament in HCM city last time.
One of my favorite games. Thank you for this!
Thank you, this a great and informative video for strategy tips on Splendor 👍👍
Great video, looking forward to adding these strategies/tips to my games

I think you can pick 1 of each or 2 of one
You can take 1 black and 1 white, or 2 black. The game is not that mean!

The low tier cards are almost a renewable resource. They'll alway be replaced with newer cards anyways. So don't worry too much about it.

Where can you buy this game to play online?
You don’t need to buy it. You can play it online from this website

That's exactly the strategy I used to beat you in Splendor
It's ridiculous. Remember the last time before you went back to America, you couldn't beat me and had to accept your failure. :)
I don't recall that incident
