Mochi doesn't have weenis skin. Mochi IS the weenis skin. Mochi is rice grains pounded into a sticky paste. It's usually served in a solid patty of mochi, though is also often filled with custard or sweet red bean paste. You're thinking of Mochi Ice cream, where they wrap mochi around the ice cream. When mochi isn't frozen, which it traditionally isn't, you wouldn't get that "weenis" skin experience.

Given the lightness of that Maine Bourbon, I wonder if being that far north you could replicate Scotch with the environment. Maybe Nova Scotia could try something along those lines.
Glenora distillery in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia has been bottling their Glen Breton line of single malts since 2000. Its various releases & finishes have been reviewed 3-4 times by the vault, reviewed a couple of times by Ralfy, Horst, and others.
There was a well-publicized 9-year lawsuit where the Scotch Whisky Association unsuccessfully sued over the use of the word “Glen”.

Love Channel, I have learn so much from watching videos. My husband and I are whiskey enthusiast. We love Isley scotch especially Ardbeg 10. The smokier the better we say .Octomore is our White whale can’t find it anywhere …..always I like your opinion on two whiskeys #1 keepers heart an Irish American whiskey and #2 any of the Smokehead scotches what do think of them and have you tried them?

My Dry week started on Tuesday this week and runs through 12/22 per Doctor for procedure. Do I get 4 challenge coins, lol.

Does anybody ,NOT a sommelier, actually "reset their palates" for an entire week? If my old worn out palate can't taste anything in my whiskey, that's just one more whiskey I don't need to rebuy. Some days I just don't feel like drinking that's my palate cleanse.

new to the channel and I love it. I'm not a whiskey drinker I got a bottle of blended scotch for Christmas a couple of years ago and it tasted like hammered dog shit I'm sure it was cheap. I had no idea it could be sweet and desserty until I watched the show. please recommend an entry-level low price sweet scotch for a newb it would make whats been a Heloise year so much better. thanx whiskey tribe

@ Rex if you and yours ever go to Europe for a vacation I'd advise against Italy and the surrounding area. Your resistance to "digestive" will kill your social life they have bars dedicated to these drinks and its VERY sophisticated fancy even.

@@theworldisastage1984 No, cause I get focused on something and just forget to pour alcohol before it gets too late. I have also never had a hangover, cause I always make sure to stay plenty hydrated and have electrolytes after any substantial amount of alcohol. Even after whiskey tasting nights where I've had several tasting pours, I'm completely fine the next morning.

Nothing to fix as there is nothing wrong with that. I love whisky but often go months without. Here recently I have been having just one glass every Sunday night. Sure helps make it easier to afford an expensive collection when you rarely empty a bottle.

@@megaexidor thanks. My wife is out of town. I'm remodeling my main floor and just pulled wood flooring and tile, that was cheaply installed by the asshole who owned the house before, because it was on top of two layers of 1/4" board and laminate sheet floor. I've got a 2.5 and 7 year old in a house with no wife right now... Oh and they put staples around the perimeter of every 4x8 sheet of underlayment, so I went through 2 flooring removal tools because of the weld broke, and I had 6 oscillating tool metal bits that I went through brand new. My back is killing me after 35 hours of this hell.
And this is dry week?! Ugh.
Oh well, at least it will be incredible when I'm finished

Reviewed this one in January 2020, why do I know this? Because I had my kid track me down a Wiggly Bottled in Bond this past summer
Anyone seen all of their episodes? Which whiskey do they like the most regardless of the price.
Ive watched for a while and the one I remember the most that they were gushing over was the octomore event horizon. They generally seem to really like the octomores the 10.1 here is 320 euros. Others are definitely the lagavuilin 16 and the ardbeg dark cove and laphroaig lore. And on the irish side they always reference the red breast 12 :)
