SAA 40th Anniversary: Dr. Tejpal Gill

Dr. Tejpal Gill provides a personal greeting to SAA to commemorate its 40th anniversary of serving the spondyloarthritis community. Dr. Gill is the recipient of the 2020 SAA/Bruckel Early Career Investigator Award in AxSpA. Dr. Gill's career goal is to investigate the molecular and microbial mechanisms leading to the development of SpA. Currently, her group is investigating the relationship between the gut microbes and immune response in HLA-B27 positive patients with ankylosing spondylitis.
