    And once again, I'm happy to see that my first intuitions about the mechanic (smuggle) where correct. It's not that big of a deal, and I think you hit the nail on the head when you discussed why do people jump the gun and overrate some things in SWU: they bring their card evaluation bias from Magic, where smuggle or something similar would in fact be very good (probably too good), but SWU is not MtG... I see lots of people can't wrap their heads around this, even though they've been playing star wars for almost 2 months now.

    Love the review and love the analysis of the cards. Thank you for putting timely intervention in a more realistic light, though I would've rate it lower. I only see it valuable as a resource for it's smuggle cost, as you can effective tap it and another resource to use it. Great job as you always do mate!

      It's hard to say how powerful the card will be as it is clearly a interaction focus card but I can see it being very played just like I can see it being not played much like sneak attack.

      @@Thorrk_THT Understandable, I am just skeptical about how powerful people are saying this card is and I used the same reasons that you mentioned in the video (needs to be drawn and needs resources to make effective unlike ECL). I would love to be wrong in this, but I personally don't see it.

    Crosshair might be really cool with Grand Inquisitor to double tap

    I think timely intervention fits perfeclty into green sabine. There are so many times where I wish I had another ambush even if i waste a card. Pushing K2 damage through or clearing a blocker. And because I can resource it early, it doesn't really take up any space in the deck.

      I doubt it, I think it's too situationnal but WE will see

      Could be , or maybe Underworld people are thematically not supposed to work well together so they might not get a lot of synergies. In Magic many trait are purely thematic and don't do much

    Pretty sure you're wrong about timely though. It works on things that cost more than 6 unlike ECL. You can timely a Reinforcement walker or Luke or Palpatine, or avenger. It's gonna be stupid late game.

      Yes but you got to pay that extra one ressource though. How often with that actually happen in a game? Not so often.
      Don't get me wrong it's a good card in the right deck, but it's nowhere close as game breaking as people make it to be.

    • @mythicgames7683
      @mythicgames7683 6 месяцев назад

      @@Thorrk_THT surely not game breaking. But it will be nice to have cards you know you can resource to make those choices easier. And the way control is going playing for the late game seems smart. Ambushing Dooku, avenger, etc to kill 2 things seems really strong. Even if it costs 10+ resources because the late game is so much about taking initiative and having the most powerful first action so you can take initiative again.
