I remember asking him for his autograph and his publicist said NO. Bret ignored that douche and stood shoulder to shoulder with me. Signed my Lonesome Dove pic. He told me to do compound exercises like Deadlifts and eat Canadian beef. I actually listened to his advice. The nicest wrestler I ever met.

You're talking about the personality of a professional wrestler, which is what the video is about! I was just going to comment what an awesome Bret Hart story that is. That sounds like good advice too! I've always appreciated how seriously Bret Hart takes wrestling and it's so fun to see old footage of him interacting with fans at his peak.
fun fact: wrestlers and referees are expected to punch and kick people who run in to the ring. and in the 80s, wrestlers were expected to beat up anyone who challenged them and never lose a fight against a fan.
I really wish the attitude era would have last forever with all of the great technology today and with all the greats that I and everyone who watch The Attitude Era grew up with we're still wrestling my favorites are Stephanie McMahon The Undertaker Stone Cold Steve Austin Triple H The Rock Trish Stratus if only Brock Lesnar and Alexa Bliss were there that would have been great although I'm not a big fan of the American Badass undertaker I'm a fan of the dead man the original Undertaker character.
