7 years ago I was working 70 hours a week in a kitchen and also a part time carer for my dad who was battling bowel Cancer. My girlfriend at the time accused me of cheating and turned her back. She sent me a message on Facebook 6 months later saying she made a mistake, I sent her this song and I haven't heard from her since.
It is a wonderful feeling to have someone in your life to make you feel this way...so many times a person has been in ones life to feel this way but for it to just be a illusion. To have some one so special in your life to always make you feel this way is beautiful feeling just to have loved some one to love this much

Wow this one hits home!! She pulled me close, then pushed me away, pulled me close and then pushed away...time after time. Told me she loved me, then she wasn't sure. It was 3 years of a complete mindfuck, day after day. Only when I'd come to the end of being able to take it did she try, but it was too late, my heart had gone. The lyric "I see you, but I can't feel you" perfectly sums up the last time I saw her. Never before or since have I looked at someone and felt literally nothing, not love, hate, empathy or compassion...just a complete void.

Then a realization comes in my mind. Do not make yourself fall hard for another person again. Do not give 100% of your heart to them. Give 50% to yourself, then the other 50% to your loved ones, work , lover, etc.
