Here it is Sunday December 8th 2024. I still can recall where I was on Sunday December 8th 2019. I went my first ever K-pop concert I still remember seeing Dreamcatcher performed in concert that night and it wouldn't be my last time either. In all I've seen Dreamcatcher 4 time when they performed here in Chicago. The experience of seeing JiU SuA Siyeon Handong Yoohyeon Dami Gahyun live in concert is something you'll never forget. Of course I had to get the HI-TOUCH - MEET AND GREET all 4 times when they were here. The HI-TOUCH - MEET AND GREET is something every Insomnia should experience at least once. I'm just so grateful I had the privilege of seeing them all 4 times in person. My experience last month was extremely special because I made a costum-made t-shirt that had said THANK YOU [ IN KOREAN ] DREAMCATCHER I ❤️ U ALL. The expressions on each members faces were so priceless and so heart warming it's omething I will never forget. I thought about getting a photo with all 7 members but JiU and Yoohyeon were sold out super quick so I decided to get a photo with Dami instead. When Dreamcatcher was here 5 years ago I missed out on getting a photo with 6 of the members because Handong was in China at the time and myself but I didn't have money for it ( OVER THW SKY EVENT ). So now I made it aa point to put money away just to see Dreamcatcher whenever they are on tour here in the UNITED STATES. The only thing I was disappointed about this tour was the fact that for all the Insomnias who brought their lightstick me included didn't experience how cool it was to see them change colors with the beat of the music especially when it came to Silent Night and the sea of red throughout the whole venue like I had experiences at their [ REASON ] on Friday March 10th 2023 concert. Although it was pretty cool to see everyone's flashlight on during Fireflies. I can't wait for JiU SuA Siyeon Handong Yoohyeon Dami and Gahyeon to come back to the United State again.
5 members were idols , 2 members were training to be idols , All 7 had to go further than idols and above Legends , They Became Dreamcatcher , the Eternal Legend Time Cannot Erase ⏳⌛
I had the same exact experience as you. I did the M&G, completely forgot about it, turned a corner and there was Dreamcatcher high fiving. The picture I didn't even look at the members when I walked to my seat then I turned around and made direct eye contact with Sua and my heart stopped. Doing the selfie with Jiu was awkward because you walk thru a curtain past the member and sit down, it went so fast idk what happened I just remember saying I love you as I walked away. With Yoohyeon she peaked thru the curtain and gave me the biggest smile ever, I got to thank her for all her hard work and she said she liked my beanie which wasn't on straight because I was so nervous. Also after the picture I was on cloud 9 and walked in front of the photographer next to Yoo which I thought was ironic because Yoo is known as being clumsy and I made an absoltue fool of myself lol. Best day ever. 10/10 would recommend
I saw them in Chicago. Did the M&G and got the 1:1 with Handong. She is super gorgeous in person and I was so not ready lol. Also in my group photo, Yoohyeon did to me what Jiu did for you with the piece signs on the shoulders. I'm pretty sure I was shaking. I REALLY hope they do the 1:1's again next year so I can be an "Oil Daddy" and get all 7 next time!

This was actually my first ever kpop concert and it just so happened to be Dreamcatcher. I don’t think I would’ve wanted anyone else as the first and I am so blessed to have been able to see them with floor tickets being so close to the stage. When they first appeared with their robes and opening the concert with OOTD, I was standing there recording in complete shock but immediately moved onto yelling my lungs out for the girls, seeing them in person felt so unreal and I was thinking wow they are actually here and standing right in front of me, not to mention they are 1000x prettier in person 😻 A couple of things i’d like to mention: 1.Handong’s outfit was definitely my favorite too she looked sooo stunning 2.Them dancing to silent night like 100 times and then Sua’s hair extensions falling out but ended up swinging them around/dancing was a sight to see, the whole silent night stages were hilarious and so fun, also props to the audience as well because during each silent night stage everyone was so hyped and dancing along with the girls 3.The way DC interacted with the crowd was just so 🤌 I mean really talk about artists loving to interact with their fans. Them telling stories of their experiences so far in the US, Sua and Jiu trying to get each section of the venue to STΦMP after each thing they said, Sua making sure the fans knew their real names and Handong’s actual name is apparently “Han” now LMAO 4.The row I was in as well as the 2 rows in front and 2 rows behind were all such amazing people, that whole section had such a great time we were all vibing and cracking jokes with each other, I actually ended up starting the first “bark” and everyone else in the section followed along 5.The concert flew by so quickly and I think a lot of people felt the same, its safe to say we were all enjoying ourselves so much that it went by quick. Like Handong said, maybe their next tour, the concerts will last all day long and i’d spend hundreds just to go and see that 🤭 6.I was able to get so many great videos of them like Sua ripping off her extensions and dancing, Sua and Siyeon flexing, Siyeon imitating the members during the talks, every silent night stage, Jiu imitating the way the fans at the very front were dancing to silent night, Gahyun and Yoohyeon being absolute cuties, Siyeon’s mic being ON and her belting the whole time, and so much more. 7.I was able to get merch after the concert, I was scared that there wasn’t going to be anything left because the lines when I first got there were super long but I was able to get 3 pieces of merch
Nice to see you were able to attend the concert and were able to get some great pictures. ❤ I hope they will do the individual pictures in Europe next time as well. I only have a blurry group photo with JiU and Handong behind me and JiU is touching my hand to complete this . I've seen Dreamcatcher twice this year (normal concert + KCON Germany... the only reason I went to KCON was DC). I'm just back from a wild KARD concert (with a live "performance video" version of "Spin" 😳🙈 ...if you know you know). 😂

As someone who has JiU as her bias, I'm jealous! At the beginning of the year in Europe there was no snapshot event :( I also didn't go to the meet and greet because I paid two of the most expensive tickets for me and my cousin in addition to the trip to the capital (As a college student who doesn't work, I have to control myself LOL). If it was a mini fansign I would definitely have gone, but hi wave and a group photo with strangers didn't seem worth it at the time. Ngl I regret it a little, seeing them from the fifth row and face to face is very different
Dreamcatcher have been pretty active with touring so I’m positive they will come around d again! I hope you enjoyed the concert this year & when they come back you’ll be finished with college :)

I wasn't expecting the concert segment to end just 6-7 minutes into a 23-minute video 😂 with the rest focused on M&G! You did an excellent job covering the concert though, and I agreed about the M&G coordinator-she was at my DC stop last year for the Reason tour and did great work there too. And of course, it was wonderful to finally meet you in person! For anyone reading this, after meeting Chill Wookie and subscribing to her channel, I instantly became an "Oil Daddy" (as she so eloquently put it in the video) and was gifted a Lamborghini to leave the venue in. So subscribe if you too want to become an Oil Daddy or Oil Mommy! 😂 But in all seriousness, the concert was incredible! The setlist was immaculate, perfectly showcasing their ballads and high-tempo songs alongside their shenanigans-truly an unforgettable experience. My friend and I had a blast chatting with people in the adjacent line during the VIP lineup as well. It's always fun to meet other nice Somnia! Though, my outfit made for an easy ice breaker, helping people spot me from a distance and strike up conversations. 😂 And I as fate would have it they also had pulled a “cake Handong” photocard from the trading packs, and I had “cake JiU” so we which she wanted so we also were able to trade that! Last but not least, I agree with chill wookie, in that if I was an oiler I would for sure get all 7 selfies, it was such a fun, albeit fast, experience. (but you heard that from her, not me… the financial aspect that is 😂) Sorry for the omega YAP, but I guess I'm just yapping in reply to the title of the video 😂
