    In your opinion David, do you think the Kyalami/Midrand area would be able to handle a mega event like the Formula 1? The developments seem encouraging but I feel like like a place like Cape Town would be front runners if F1 execs would choose a city in South Africa to host.

      yes, they are already upgrading the track

      @AwkwardLeon69420 Not the circuit necessarily but the infrastructure in the area to hold such an event of that magnitude.

      Kyalami hosted it before and there was less infrastructure development then

      Chief, what are you talking about, that track used to host formula one all those years ago and that time the track was surrounded by farms.

      Killarney Gardens (CT) vs Kyalami (JHB) race track...Check the satellite images...Kyalami is better positioned. CT is too congested even for insignificant events.

    This region is very friendly but I just thought that if these walls or dividing walls between the street and the buildings didn't exist, the landscape would be much more beautiful with the construction of gardens around the properties.

    • @LivinginSAtv
      @LivinginSAtv  9 дней назад +1

      That would make for a great improvement! But these "walls" are simply a response to trauma. South africans need to keep themselves safe. We can only count on ourselves to survive.

    Mr David nice video but formula 1 race differently is going to cape town minister McKenzie must understand these he doesn't have enough funding to upgrade the race course it's need massive billions of rands he must jst let cape town handle these

      Cape Town doesn't have a race track

    • @MusehanaH
      @MusehanaH 11 дней назад +1

      @roblucci2366, it does...somewhat - Killarney Motor Racing Complex...but not up scratch...and the location is all wrong. More suited for drag racing 🫣

      Cape Town doesn't currently have a dedicated Formula 1 circuit, but there are plans in the works! The Cape Town Grand Prix South Africa (CTGPSA) has proposed a 5.7km street circuit around the Green Point Sport Tourism Precinct, near the DHL Stadium.
