Wow above and beyond! This is going to be a sick build! Imagine the kx250 or tecate build like this. You’re the man! Looking forward to future uploads.
That KTM is going to be awesome sauce! Bad ass three wheeler too! I also built a 1986 Honda ATC 200x on my channel (22 video playlist), if you want to check it out ... love your builds, sir ...
met Matt kjnow I also do 350X stuff so if he has questions and need any assistance he cal let me know. i have an upgraded oil cooler for the 350X as well that cools way better and is larger than oem. it bolts to oem location with a custom adapter plate.
I have a 200x that was in mint condition from top to bottom all original about 15 years ago I only paid $450 for it all going just had to clean the car and I've been kicking myself in the ass for selling it for the last five or six years the value is gone up a lot since I had mine
why not buy new bolts instead of spending three times the amount of money to have the old ones re zink coated ? re zink coating a 40 year old bolt thats been stretched and weakened over time is still a 40 year old bolt . not worth it to me
Not all oem bolts and hardware are still available and the time spent tracking down NOS hardware is outweighed by sending bolts to get refinished. Plus some places do it by the pound so if you have lots of hardware it's more cost effective than buying $2-5 ea new oem bolts or more if they are discontinued.
I been following @garagemcmatt for maybe a year now. He does build nice stuff. Has good log of videos. I knew who's 200x that is right when I seen the thumbnail lol
KTM is going to be sick bro. Thanks for coming out and showing my nightmare lol

Battle cross tires are sweet! 🤘
Nice!
It is fun to do and watch different projects. I'm all for gas and electric, bike, quads, side by sides, etc.
Having the right tools definitely makes a difference between having to do something and having fun while doing it
Looking awesome as always. Nice work helping Matt out with the 350X wheel...

Spray a bunch of silicone on that inner tube so it becomes really slippery and it pretty much will never get punctured
