Disagree that McAfee doesn't bear a significant amount of responsibility here. He pays Rodgers handsomely to come on his show, because it's very profitable for him, and he does so knowing the dangerous things Rodgers has said in the past about vaccines, about Anthony Fauci, etc., etc., etc. Literally the week before his Kimmel comments Rodgers came on his show and dog-whistled about "puppet masters puppeteering" among other things. And McAfee never really challenges him on any of it. I’m glad that Nick spoke out about this issue and didn’t defend Rodger’s actions in anyway, that was the right thing to do.
But why is Brock Purdy being brought up even for a moment in this type of conversation? Why is Brock Purdy being mentioned in a talk about the dangers of Aaron Rodgers implying someone is a pedophile? This is ridiculous. If you don’t think Brock Purdy is a good quarterback, fine, that’s your opinion. But bringing him up during this conversation is cruel and unfair to Brock.
