That's so kewl that in the last video Faye told me she's trying to become more specialized in ONLY taking new clients with Supras - and HERE one is!!! YAY! 🥰. Honestly just in my own opinion, i think this generation gets way too much hype. I know i know. People love them. BUT to me that aren't very good looking. I prefer the 1983-1986 and 1986 1/2 to 1992(?) more. I guess i'm a Supra traditionalist.
Wish you'd have been there when I spent over year trying to find the coolant leak on my Alfa. Changed everything - rad, hoses, cap, checked engine with UV dye, new coolant tank etc, and didn't think it was the gasket at first as sniffer test was negative and engine didn't lose coolant too fast to start and no white steam in exhaust. Turned out to be a really small gap in the gasket which expanded slowly over time and then one day it must have gone bad cos I was driving home when temp shot up and coolant just plummeted. Went about a week using a friend's car and mechanic finally found and told me the bad news. It was bad to the point the engine would start, heat up and then within 5 miles it would overheat. I still regret having to sell it off to this day, it was a wonderful little 1.4 multiair Alfa Romeo MiTo in white with black wheels and red callipers, my first car, and it was the 170Bhp Cloverleaf 🍀 edition, the best you can get. Quad callipers, carbon fibre trim inside with red backlight and the vaunted 'DNA' engine mode selector 🥲 6 speed solid gear box and any Alfa owner will tell you - as much of a pain in the arse they are to look after - nothing drives or feels as grounded and stable as an Alfa does when you take it for a drive. 😍 Thankfully, for a happy ending, I later got a tax notification saying someone had just taxed 'my' vehicle and presumably got it back onto the road. So NA10 FRF is out there somewhere. 🤗
If your familiar with vw 2.0 water pumps or a few other euro cars they all use that stupid connector piece same shape and everything and they ALWAYS leak! Great video, dont work on supras much but its nice to see
This reminds me, that’s yet another part I need for my project. I bought a brand new 2JZ-GTE short block from Toyota to replace the 2.5L block from my 1JZ. This part must be a different length to accommodate the difference in deck height. Thanks, Faye!
Very nice. It's been my understanding that petroleum jelly attacks rubber and if memory serves, synthetic rubber as well, so it's not the best choice for a lubricant. It won't break it down immediately but I commend you using coolant as the safe option.
Thanks for another great tutorial! And the Driftmotion link! It’ll be real helpful when I get around to the water pump on my build. I’m putting a 1JZ in my mk3 Supra, so I definitely wouldn’t be mad if you made more JZ related videos lol
YOU DO NICE WORK GIRLFRIEND COOL TO SEE VERY SMART SKILLED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE GREAT EXAMPLE TO YOUNG GIRLS AND EVERYONE ELSE GREAT JOB ON YOUR CHANNEL :)
Faye, what’s Toyota's V12 engine called in Toyota lingo? I saw one on another channel in a Toyota Century. I could see one in your Supra, if it would fit.
YESSSS!!! I actually know a guy from the pnw who put one in his Mk2 Supra!!! They are expensive and hard to come by but that would be really cool!! Right now I'm looking for one of the older v8s - a 1UZ - to put into one of my more haggard supras 🤣 and the 88 will eventually get a nice built 7M 🥰
This is why I use royle purple ice additive. Very good stuff
You must have the most amazing patience in the world, love your videos and love your vibes. Keep going girl! Do your thing!
I recently ordered their 1.5J water pipe 😁😁😁

Sweet, love me some 2JZ. Same thing happens on GE engine but it looks a little different, although in the same area.
