For easier navigation, you can find the PGN with all the variations imported on www.patreon.com/hangingpawns
Just search for the Torre Attack or type openings into the search bar and all that are available should be listed there.

Torre attack setup might be the best weapon vs Gruenfeld. So annoying and solid to play against

Nice video. I've been playing the Torre a while. A few things I'll say about it...
You can transpose into it from the Trompowsky, and I prefer this. Here you can delay playing Nf3 even longer by playing e3 or c3, and transpose into the Torre if you see certain move orders you like to play the Torre against. I use the Torre in certain places in the e6 and sometimes in g6 lines... i.e. after e6 followed by Be7 I play another line leading to stonewall positions instead. There are often alternatives, but the Torre plays an important role. And against b6 c5 setups theres also a petrosian gambit line in the Torre (d5) which is very interesting.
In g6 lines you can also wait until they play d5 to play Nf3... there are other options with Ne2 or e4 + f4.
Last thing is h4 is a very common idea in the Torre against e6 lines. Try throwing h4 up the board, analyze your game afterward and watch the engine eval ... it will swing wildly every other move. I don't let the engine eval bother me here as long as I can reach a dynamic position.

Your videos are great! Can you make a video which covers all uncommon openings? I think that they are worth trying because even openings like 1. f3 or 1. h4 are playable and they can be also a strong suprise wepon. Thank you in advance.

    At 28:22, cxd4 exd4 and a setup with d6 Bd7 Bc6 and Nbd7 is what I recommend. I've studied that setup against the London.

at 54:05: also after Ne5 bh4 Qd6 is really strong move, lets say white ignores the idea of Qd6 and plays d3 Qh6 is a strong response with the idea of playing g5 to push whites bishop to g3 so that the knight swop of the bishop and white is forced to take with the g pawn and black push g4 to win the pawn on e4: k.o!

Wouldn’t the Colle Systems be a good pair because they are only really played against d5 setups and have a similar structure? Also really loving your new thumbnails Stjepan :)

The English opening is good against D5 you can transpose into queens gambit, Catalan, or Neo Catalan

In the Gossip variation After. 3..., Ne4 4. Bh4 the engine keeps offering 4..., h5!? That is a very shocking move but the idea it's pretty dangerous is to play f6 following with g5 creating problems to the h4 bishop

Verifying: is it your contention that the Torre Attack is ineffective - or inefficient - vs. the Queen's Indian Defense as well as the KID?
