You don't know how much I love this song for a long time. Michael Bolton is a really great artist. I didn't know that he composed this song for Laura Branigan first and he released his own album later. I only know his version.
This is the sound that a musician would sound like when he feels broken by a lost love...The Original was a younger, more hopeful Michael. Stronger and more optimism back when he first recorded it. I am sure it went straight to a No 1 hit back in the day. I know I heard it everywhere I was back then. It's now 9.2020. Off to search the original.
