Thanks for the feedback everyone. It's not to everyone's taste but I don't give a fuck to be honest. I like it and that's all that matters... At that stage of the build I think it coat around the $1500 mark but we did a lot of work ourselves. It has gone through some big modifications recently. Turbo charged, ridged rear end and looking into chopping the rear section of frame for a new look... Still not putting a rear fender on it though!
guys amazing project ! I owned two TW, a 125 and a 200 and never found the time to mod them. Soon or later I will buy another one and do it :) Cheers from Italy
How much did this all cost you? I like that you did. Did you weld in the extension on the swing arm or was it after market? Do they make an extended swing arm for it ?
The swing arm was extended 5 inches, butt and plug welded, smoothed and painted. In total the mods cost me under $1800 although a lot of labour was free or done by me. I could not purchase the swing arm ready made so yes we had to make it. The front forks are standard length just new seals etc. I am looking to fit narrower triple clamps, and front wheel as well as a taller front wheel and some other modifications in the near future... I'll keep everyone posted.
Hi mate, thanks for the comment. It was never going off reload again so ground clearance wan not a priority! You should see what I've done to it now! Search TW200 custom on Facebook
thanks guys... i like the open look of no rear fender, some say it looks unfinished, but its the way i like it! the swing arm was cut and a smaller piece of metal slid in and plug welded in then covers made, im sure it shows a photo of it in the video? yes we are from sydney!
Aup dude .. I have a 125 I want to customise.. basically the same as this.. how did or where did you get your swing arm , also is it worth putting a disc brake on the back ?? Rather than drum.... I have questions... Can we talk on WhatsApp , Facebook ect ????
Very well done, it's mostly a slideshow but it tells the story at the right pace. Bike look great except for the exhaust, that kind of ruins your ground clearance doesn't it?
i couldnt tell you mate, as all the labour hours were not counted and i have no idea what someone would charge... i outlayed under $1200 for all the new parts, zinc coating etc...
sick video mate, make me sound to be n aussie... nice cafe racer style first pic after the stocker......... You from round Sydney mate? no doubt ya aussie!
thank you for the comments guys... positive and negative... i got an idea from here and an idea from there, idea's from some friends and opinions of others and ended up with this! i love it! although i do wish it had 200hp at the rear tyre! going through some modifications at the moment so ill keep you all posted as it progresses.

How did you extend the rear swingarm? Custom raw tube? Cut and combine another swingarm? Completely different arm? Looks great! Thanks.
Is that stick seat wraped in new leather just screwed at frame ? Amazing job!

I'm not currently in any position to buy a bike. Someday, I hope to though. Still, do you know what the average would be to build a bike like this?
nicely done & a good inspirational video.
Hey Mick how much was the sandblasting and powdercoating of the frame? I've got a similar project going atm. Cheers
