Clean looking WRX STI, the stance looks proper like and she sounds great when you mash the throttle!!
First lol. Keep up the dope content man!! I'm going to use a lot of your advice for my 2018 sti
Really enjoy your videos man 👍🏻
I appreciate it! Thanks for the support.
Love the build bro. Very very clean.
Its crazy you don't have more bump steer without having done a roll center adjustment kit with your car so low!! I wonder if you would feel a huge difference if you do install one. It made my STI drive way better.
Haven’t experience much of it so haven’t noticed it. But maybe something to look into!
@@Scoobyfreak86 after i did fa500 coilovers, i hated how my car would pull on bumps. But when i installed the bump steer/roll correction kit, it made the car handle much better
Torque specifications for the transmission mounting bolts 🔩? Thanks
Mostly stock now on a daily 2019, hate the 1-2 shift and the stock sloppy shifter in general, what would you recommend aa a bang for the buck upgrade(s)? Installing a cobb rear sway bar and endlinks today to help with the understeer. Then onto minor engine parts to reduce time to spool to make it more useable
Very nice, thanks for the review.
Not for me at this point, but good to know about it!
Nice cruise video. If you don't like reaching up to mute the radar safe-n-sound has a hardwire mute button kit that is really nice. Any thoughts about updating to the Uniden R8 at some point?
I’ve looked into that actually. In the truck it’ll make more since it’s further away. The STI is super close so not a biggie.
I thought about it but was actually thinking of trying it the new valentine actually. I loved my v1 years ago and have been curious how the new one is.
I’m thinking your local
To me driving through Lakewood in the video. Surprised i haven’t seen you around driving through my area
I contend that generally no one driveline upgrade makes a massive improvement in throwing down more of your available power on hand. With the possible exception of a carbon fiber driveshaft. Less rotational mass means more efficient power transfer. Each changeout though adds an incremental improvement. Some are meant to be paired with other driveline upgrades to realize a tangible results. At least that is what my butt dyno, perhaps out of tune butt dyno is telling me. LOL
Dude I would really like to meet you and pick ur brain for some ideas and where you got parts. I have a 21 STI and I live in Philly. STI’s have been my dream car since a little kid and I finally accomplish that goal last year of obtaining one and luckily I did before the discontinue.
Your car looks soooo awesome
Hello, how do you like that weighted shift knob compared to OEM? Way better feel when shifting?
ruclips.net/video/qK1mLyiAw0k/видео.html
Can you do a comparison video of your tuned STI & the stock G80? My ‘21 STI that I traded in for my G80 was nearly bone stock. I was always curious about how my STI would have compared highly modded.
Would be an interesting comparison. Apples to oranges but I could offer some insight in a more in depth video. Maybe during a wash and talk.
@@Scoobyfreak86 that would be great. How much HP are you pushing on the STI?
413 wheel. Not too far off the g80, but very different feeling between the two given the weight difference.
@@Scoobyfreak86 a performance comparison would be cool. With the STI’s lower weight they would probably be comparable
Just found your channel. Subscribed. What front lip/side skirts are those
ruclips.net/video/wMBfWMr0B3g/видео.html
Car sounds nice. Where was the mic while you were filming the driving session?
Right on the camera on the seat. Position it where your ears would be while actually driving the car so you can get an accurate sound in the video.
@@Scoobyfreak86 the in cabin sounds from the exhaust (at least in video) sounds really good 👍 I'm assuming it's much louder in person though
Haha much louder
This car sounds amazing. What exhaust setup is that?
ruclips.net/video/Q56dKCqnVfg/видео.html
@@Scoobyfreak86 Thank you!
Would you ever do a CAE shifter?
They are cool but may take away from the streetability of the car. If there was a nice clean trim setup for it though, I would maybe look into it. It always looks so unfinished me.
Scoobyfreaks86, mind saying what tires are you running wit? Thanks in advance
ruclips.net/video/6KRb1X3pPB0/видео.html
how do you mount your camera to get that middle angle in the car?
amzn.to/3Wubq0q
What exhaust do you have dude?

Have u done the drive shaft center support ???
Already purchased and on the way 👍🏻
@@Scoobyfreak86 oh ok nice would be able to do a video and see how the stock one moves around and after ??.
@@Demonwolf86 i put a 1 piece cf shaft in my wrx, huge, and i mean huge improvement in driveability.
Yes, there will be a install and review video once it comes in.
@@leftyo9589 link to the part?
U have work emotions on the sti?

What motor mounts you have ?
Stock
@@Scoobyfreak86 alright okay I put the torque solutions motor mounts I felt it for the first 1,000 miles driving with them then the vibration became minimal and it feels like I have sti group n mounts now but I know shifting everything feels solid all I have to do is a nice set of coilovers on my hatchback and change my steering rack since it’s leaking
@@Scoobyfreak86 but if you do plan to do the motor mounts as well you would definitely notice the car feel more responsive and might hear the whine more inside the car but I got use to it since the sti is my daily for right now
100% agree.
I went from stock to Group N Transmission mount with Kartboy shift bushing as the entire internet talks about those parts.
That added some tightness and notch for shifting. I think its a bit overrated on improvement.
When I came across your Beatrush Diff Bushing video ruclips.net/video/cRefulxt79M/видео.html, I jumped for those and it was day & night. The install was much easier and it takes out the slack of diff movement esp in 1st and 2nd gear.
For less money and easier install, diff bushing helped with shift and the way the car rides as it removes the choppy feeling.
What's the best value part out of those, and would you recommend all of them with a short shifter? I've been not wanting to do the kartboy short shifter and bushings but it just looks so tedious for a first timer
