A bit like everytime zelensky is due to meet with nato a civillian target is suddenly hit the day before yet the russians don't seem to hit them any other day
Just a reminder ukraine control footage of strike as it is illegal to film ! If civilian target are shown to be hit it's because ukrainian authority authorized the release of the footage
Willy, NATO bombed Serbia to help Kosovo to "self determination". Willy, US, NATO, Australian soldiers, all committed horrendous war crimes during these last 20 years in multiple wars, often on film. NOBODY was punished. The ONLY journalist who exposed them, your own countryman Julian Assange, was hunted for over 10 years and prisoned in solitary cell for many years. Willy, I understand your desire for justice, we all want it, but it carries more weight if you ever point out those war crimes too and how they got forgotten with NO justice served.
What do Westerners know about Yugoslavia? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Yugoslavia was the first jihadi attempt of taking over a country. Thats all it was.
The Musclehims killed 500,000 Kosovars during WW2 with Hitler's blessing and went from owning 46 % of Kosovo to 90 % of Kosovo. Under NATO protection they expelled the last 10 %. Nato hates its fellow Christians
on top of that, our weak and pathetic assholes allowed "justice" to go after our soldiers and their families... funny that, and none of the bastards that pushed the war, commanded the forces in those battles and the politicians with their lobbyists faced the arm of justice - regardless of what happened - putting our soldiers and their families through hell was wrong¬!
The first video from this channel that I watched was an interview with a German who had been fighting with Ukraine forces. During that talk the German soldier says quite matter of factly that Ukrainian comrades took Russian prisoners into the woods, there were shots and only the Ukrainians returned - not the prisoners.
Same thing happened during WW2, American, British and Soviet soldiers committed terrible war crimes against the German and Japanese civilian populations.
The US dropped atomic bombs on August 6 and 9, 1945, on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing hundreds of thousands of civilians. It is a crime that cannot become obsolete. Who will judge? How many children were killed in Iraq, Serbia, Gaza,... Who will judge?... The list is too long!
Just like Krinky, The Ukrainian Kursk incursion showed Zelensky valued social media Sensationalism rather than proper military thinking, it turned out to be a rather nonsensical move, costing vulhedar and many more towns which will soon fall
Attacking a poorly defended sector of the front and taking the war onto the territory of an invading enemy is sound strategy. Russia did it against Germany in WW2, remember? My guess is that you think Ukraine blowing up a major Ruzzian ammo depot wasn't good military thinking either...
@@k.s.333 i get your point but Russia is clearly playing a long game here, we can provide all the military equipment in the world to Ukraine but if they do not have enough forces, soon there will be no one to use those weapons. if Russia did it during WW2 against Germany, is because they had virtually an unlimited supply of manpower. Ukraine did not and does not have the necessary manpower to hold on to Kursk for long and Russia knew it from the start, they are okay with just containing the Ukrainians there while taking strategic towns like vulhedar in the meantime, and when they are done with those towns, they will come back for Kursk with a bloody ugly pincer to finish off all those elite forces Zelensky sent there!!! The Kursk operation had one goal: Hoping that Russia would be stupid enough to withdraw its forces from the frontlines to defend Kursk, it is now clear that Russia is not that stupid afterall.
So many people talk about negotiations in West , but someone need to ask Russia would they agree? 😂😂😂 We listen to much empty words from western leaders 😂😂😂
Problem is that the US keeps lying about the negotiations and proposals. No one on the other side trusts the USA anymore. I believe the Iranian President said that the other night and Putin has been saying that for 2 years.
ooh I dunno..... hundreds of thousands of casualties, enormous cost, Russian economy on a countdown to collapse in a year or so. You know, little details like that.
What about Ausrtralia's war crimes and what's worse is the instemic cover up by Commanding officers. No one held to account...that was different the victims were Afgani farmers.
Are you sure that execution video is legit? I mean, it would be the most stupid thing to do for russians when they drop leaflets asking ukrainians to surrender. And it would be one thing if they did it silently, but willingly putting it on camera and allowing footage to be released doesn't make sense to me. On the other hand, it would make eminent sense for the Ukraine to dissuade its military personnel from surrounding to russians at any cost. I don't suggest they executed their own soldiers, but evens like this could be easily staged and in this case it does seem to me that something doesn't add up.
The very same shit happened in Srebrenica, there were video evidence of staged executions of non combat personel but they magically vanished when they were to be presented in court. Fals flags are present in every war so people would get more angry and hatred would be fueled by leadership for their financial and other gains. Such a sad world we live in...
Why would russia negotiate when thete winning... NATO going to ask russia if whats left of Ukraine can join them but russia keep other territories 😂 They are not going to accept that.. it was the whole part of the special military operation!
Exactly! They would be back at square one with billions spent and thousands of casualties. That would have all been in vain. Someone in nato think they're slick. Maybe if all Ukraine lands go to Russia except a one mile strip along the polish border. That can join nato.😂😂😂
you never consider what the percent, e would be if they had included citizens in occupied Ukraine. Nor do you consider what happens if Ukraine gets the occupied lands back what would the reaction of the ones in occupied lands. They already fought Ukraine before for 8 years, . you claim they were being encouraged by Russian intelligence but ignore the fact that Ukrainian right wing nationalist groups were trained and encouraged before 2022 by the west. Yet you claim you try and be unbiased.
So Willy is shocked at people turning a blind eye to war crimes, even though he was part of a war in which the West turned a blind eye to its war crimes. Indeed, his own army covered up war crimes: "The report found evidence of 39 murders of civilians and prisoners by (or at the instruction of) members of the Australian special forces, which were subsequently covered up by ADF personnel. The report stated 25 ADF personnel were involved in the killings, including those who were "accessories" to the incident."
@@nerdynautilus5373 Yes that's true, but covering up war crimes means they will be committed again. It's not a new issue; Americans committed horrific war crimes in Vietnam too, and covered them up. Colin Powell helped cover up the My Lai massacre, and was duly rewarded by promotion and eventually raised to Secretary of State. While Cpt Hugh Thompson, who actually stopped the massacre, narrowly escaped a dishonourable discharge and was hounded by death threats for the rest of his life. Only a tiny fraction of Western atrocities in Iraq have ever been investigated. And the problem here is that it creates an illusion in which the West regards itself as having a superior morality, while the rest of the world regards it as murderous and depraved.
Unless it can achieve and I willing to commit to total victory it Russia will still need to negotiate one way or another regardless of the reliability of the parties involved
@@nerdynautilus5373the way its going russia will have total victory so no I do t think negotiating will happen especially since the middle east is on fire and usa sending troops there

It is not a big secret that the Russians are not bothering a lot to take prisoners from two categories - NATO instructors and mercs - sorry - "foreign volunteers" and Ukrainian nazionalists. Especially after the captured ones in Mariupol were exchanged.
Basically you are claiming that the Russians are committing a war crime. I claim you are a Ukrainian bot. PS Besides the crime, it would be totally stupid to kill a foreign fighter - a great PR. And we also know that many Ukrainian nationalists and a handful of foreigners were taken prisoners. But most importantly - it is a war crime to kill a PoW.
It is true, acc to Russian laws, any foreigner who is not Ukranian national and is participating in armed conflict is considered a ter****st. Geneva convention rules do not apply.
This is a salient point that is often forgotten (like that pesky CIA-Sponsored "maidan" coup d-etat against a democratically elected Ukrainian president). Also that Zelensky planned to accept the Deal, but Biden sent Boris Johnson over to get Zel to drop it, and he did!
Just thought how the biggest war-crime ever: the drop of an atomic bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima was treated? The regular narrativ still says, that these bombs were necessary to end the war. The biggest slaughter of civilians, the biggest war-crime ever commited during one day each - no military personal just civilians were slaughtered - lead to which justice-process? Did any american president ask for forgiving?
So killing 20 million Russian civilian's by the Alexis power's in the WW2 was not a bigger war crime? Even the killing of over 50 million people by the Mongols was also not a war crime for you it was perhaps a liberation of a land?

Re the drop of morale - I see that in many areas. Look at the Olympic games - Russia is banned. The Greek of old would never do that - the Olympic games were holy, even sworn enemies were given free access to them, the athletes and spectators guaranteed no harm to and from the games. Our moral standards are failing, we are falling back into a more tribal attitude. I think that we are seeing - not overnight but slow - the decline of human civilization and that ultimately will lead to the downfall of democracies as a form of government. There is a longer-term way out - over some decades, maybe half a century - but I think it will take a deep fall until some cells of humanity will accept that. But for now, we are stuck with atrocities being cheered on as long as the right side does them. If we are even lucky enough to go the right steps - or some of us are to do that against resistance.
It's funny how we think we are "good" when we deem anyone we don't agree with the new Ht-man. The more irredimable evil Ht-men we see around ourselves, the better and more perfect we think we are But that's exactly how the real Ht-man thought, how he framed others, and how his Nz-men were convinced to do what they did We did learn our lesson from history. We learned how to be the Ht-man regardless on which "side" we are
I hoped, that this year IOC and other world sport organisations would stop this nonsense of mixing sport with politics. Every player should have right to play under her/his country's flag. One cannot choose the country of one's birth. Wars are run by politicians not sportsmen/sportswomen. Why during the invasion of Iraq, 20 year bombing of Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Pakistan not to mention the genocidal Vietnam war US, Australian, UK... athletes were allowed to compete under their national flag? USA invaded Iraq in 2003 and yet their flag was still allowed at the World Cup 2006 in Germany and 2010 in South Africa despite the fact they were still in Iraq. Either ban ALL flags of countries who go to war, or don't ban any of them. Interestingly enough Israeli sportsmen and sportswomen are allowed to play under the national flag in international competitions despite the policy of their government towards Palestinians in Gaza. * All wars are equal, but some wars are more equal than others.
@@NJ-wb1cz This is true - except back then education was way better and now we also slip into Idiocracy. I think the time for democracy as we see it is coming to an end. I had this discussion yesterday with some group and the topic was really "would it be so bad if AI takes over governments" and the consensus was that with basic alignment and possibly a feudal system - build hierarchically with humans on the lowest level depending where they live - it would be vastly superior. We would be heard and represented to the level we make sense (not that this is less and less the case - making sense, that is). Without that - between ideocracy and a tribal "my enemy is absolute evil" thinking... I think we humans face some really dark times. This will not stop - and we DO get AI now into the military - so wars will turn more into industrial output comparisons. We had our peak time between WW1 and WW2 - but since the 50s we are failing. Back in 2014 when clashes between local Donbas and Luhansk insurgencies against Ukrainian regular army where happening they knew each other and where conducting ceasefires to let one sede recover killed and wounded or exchange captured soldiers. Unfortunately Ukraine integrated different Neo nationalist groups such as AZOV (even US government counted them as illegals at that time) into regular army. As a result there were more and more incidents when such agreements like collecting wounded or killed was misused by Ukrainian side. Then drones appeared and with the help of the West they started to be widely used by Ukrainians. Dropping grenades on injured soldiers was a common side in Ukrainian publics, those videos where widely spread and ignored by the western media, as well as all the other videos recovered by Russian army. So if you are asking why no one is conducting any investigations, maybe this is the reason. Army is too busy fighting, media is too busy with pushing it's agenda, the West will not raise this issue either as too many questions will be asked about Ukraine's actions as a result and this is something no one needs from Western politics. The investigation will be conducted after the war and the side that lost will be blamed for everything, as always.
I wouldn't see it impossible that those were ukrain3an soldiers who were looking to surrender to the russians and their own slaughtered them. Too many lies on th3 ukrain3an part to believe this as well.
Why should Russia trust America as a negotiating partner after both Minsk agreements turned out to be a tactic to buy time and build up arms, the talks in Turkey were also scuppered. Russia has shown all along a willingness to negotiate so I'm afraid that train has left the station. Ukraine will have surrender unconditionally and take what's coming. Poland, Hungary and Romania will pick up scraps of territory, the Donbass will be independent and the Americans will move their operations to Georgia with the same gameplay.
"Land for NATO membership" is impossible. Russia doesn't want land, it wants to stop NATO membership. The opposite offer would be much more likely to succeed, that Ukraine gets Donetsk back in exchange for neutrality. But that would be a return to the status quo ante bellum for the Russians, so they probably wouldn't go for it. But any "offer" which involves Ukrainian membership of NATO is simply a proposition to keep the war going.
"Russia doesn't want land"...as Russia is in the process of invading Ukraine, after seizing Crimea, while holding parts of Georgia, Moldova. You don't even believe what you write, admit it.
Once again I urge people to actually read what article 5 says. Even in the event of a member being attacked there is no obligation on any other member to act in a particular way. They are still free to support in the way that they see fit. Ukraine is already being treated as if it is a Nato member. Article 5 would not demand greater input by anyone.
The key difference is that collective defense becomes a binding commitment-countries must act, though the nature of that action (e.g., military, logistical, economic) can vary. So, while a member could technically limit its support to non-military aid, the political and military expectations would be much higher than what Ukraine is receiving now, especially since NATO is designed for collective military defense. So, the comment is partially correct, but it downplays the significance of the binding nature of Article 5.
@@ZugZugMahogny What can I say ? Article 5 binds you to nothing. Each country is free to make whatever response it feels appropriate. You have admitted it and then you deny it in the next breath.
@@RiseOfTheMachines-s7u Yes, theoretically, a country could fulfill its obligation under Article 5 by providing minimal support, like sending equipment such as radios, if it deemed that sufficient. Article 5 does not specify the nature or scale of the response, leaving it to each member's discretion. However, in practice, NATO members generally recognize that a meaningful response is expected in the event of an armed attack on a member state. The political and military pressure from other NATO allies and the principle of collective defense would likely compel most members to provide more substantial support than just minimal assistance. Ultimately, while the letter of Article 5 allows for flexibility, the spirit of the alliance encourages a more robust response to uphold collective security.

speaking of war crimes, Russia is not worse than anyone else, for example, civilian victims in Ukraine seem to be very few if you compare with, for example, the Vietnam War, or the Gulf War or the former Yugoslavia, or in sudan not to mention Israel's slaughter of civilians (95%) execution of prisoners can you understand if these guys have just killed your friends. im sure both sides do that.
If most Ukrainians are still confident of victory you have to wonder just what they've been told since the start of the war. Do they have any idea at all what's happening at the front?

Our moral standards are failing, we are falling back into a more tribal attitude.
I think that we are seeing - not overnight but slow - the decline of human civilization and that ultimately will lead to the downfall of democracies as a form of government. There is a longer-term way out - over some decades, maybe half a century - but I think it will take a deep fall until some cells of humanity will accept that. But for now, we are stuck with atrocities being cheered on as long as the right side does them. If we are even lucky enough to go the right steps - or some of us are to do that against resistance.

"Land for NATO membership" is impossible. Russia doesn't want land, it wants to stop NATO membership. But that would be a return to the status quo ante bellum for the Russians, so they probably wouldn't go for it. But any "offer" which involves Ukrainian membership of NATO is simply a proposition to keep the war going.
It does not care about Nato. Thats just a propaganda lie. This is a war of conquest.

War is war. The term 'war crimes' is an oxymoron. We all know there are no rules in war, therefore there can be no crimes. It is simply a matter of survival and self-preservation.

that execution of surrending soldiers makes no sense at all.. I have doubts
Even if they were executing soldiers, it's the fact that they did it out in the open in clear view of the recognisance drones that makes me doubt its veracity. Like, there's a forest right behind them, no one would find out. Gives me Bucha vibes.
Captured soldiers are an exchange fund. The parties often exchange prisoners. And it would be stupid to deprive yourself of this resource.
They could do it for some reasons though.
Thanks for raising this issue. Politicians toss the term war crimes a bit too casually, but it's still hard to believe that, where they are being recorded in high definition, there is not more outrage amongst the public.

War crimes ....... I thought the aim of the game is to defeat your enemy using violence means.... where killing in not only sanctioned but glorified when they kill well and we talk about rules in this arena...... What in the world is Willy going on about? War is a crime by itself. What's wrong with the sixth commandment in the Bible?
The war is not about fair fight and never was. Each side is trying to get an unfair advantage and destroy the enemy. Any possible way. Nothing is fair. Last man standing counts.
I think you are referring to the 10 commandments. The Hebrew for the commandment "thou shalt not kill" is more accurately rendered "thou shalt not murder". This implies killing in self defence is permitted. In fact throughout the old testament there are wars against the enemies of the chosen people.

Agreed.
Some of the missiles will have been intercepted by ships with their SM-3 missiles while in route.
its very hard if you dont know exactly how many where shot and you only see the impacts. If iran theoretically fired 300000 missiles last night without us knowing and the videos looked like they did your comment would look correct but it wouldnt be. Also as we have seen from ukraine, even if a missile get intercepted it can still do damage or land somewhere else

Are these proofed Russians? Or could they have been anti-retreat troops ? The geolocation let me think about ...
The timing of that video with the fall of Vulhedar is a bit suspicious as well.
17:55 "Russia is advancing with heavy cost" 😂😂😂
By what measure? Surely not nearly as heavy as UA losses in the same area, where they are constantly retreating and losing a lot of people/equipment in retreat, without any damage to Russian army.
On the other hand, if UA soldiers stand in place, they get hammered by FABs and other means.
The side attacking usually has more casualties. It’s just a reality of war. Defenders are in defensive positions, attackers leave them to attack.
@@dimbulb6443 "attackers" 😂😂
This isn't WWI, it's fckin 2024. 90+% of people are dying from drones and artillery/aviation, not from clearing trenches/buildings.
We all know Russia has at least 10x more firepower in any location on the frontline at the moment.
The heavy cost is mostly being passed onto Ukraine.
@@dimbulb6443 In general yes, but not with FAB-X is around... Since the dumb bombs got smart, the situation has changed specially on static positions. FAB-X is the MVP on this WAR, second is ISKANDER.. Winter is coming and their will be a lot of static positions, FAB-X will rain down on them.
If the Russians are advancing rapidly that would tell me ukro defence has collapsed. Russia slows down, they use their arty to avoid sending troops in directly.
I'm Russian, from Russia. And I can tell you, that killing war prisoners or not excepting surrender of enemy is not often thing that happens in both sides if the front.
Ugledar was not important for what is behind it but what is in front of it. The railway that can feed Russian troops in zaporihzia and the rest f donbas.
AS for isael Iran notified the USA before the strike, hence most of israels's f35 etc were up in the air when the missiles truck he airfields. Of course it is doubtful whether Israel will respect this act of civility nd not inform Iran when they reply. Ugledar will nor be declared fully under control for about a month as Russia clears mines and stranded soldiers in clellars. If you bothered reading Russian papers you would have seen several instances of Russian soldiers being prosecuted for crimes committed in the war.
before you can claim anything a war crime you need to know what happened before.
when it comes to loss of equipment History Legends made an interesting point, Russi has skilled mechanics and workshops near the front line. They can fix a damaged tank and return it to action in less than 10 hours on average, Arnoured vehicles take a shorter time. Many of these tanks have been hit and repaired many times. this is partly true for ukraine as well, though they have to canninalise more parts from other machines.

Thankyou for the too-rare"atrocities are atrocities, no matter who does them" attitude. The impartiality is too rare for fair trials of individuals to happen, so perhaps the best available option is something like what South Africa used to defuse bitterness and future conflict - truth and reconciliation hearings.
Sadly, the parties won't be ready for that for some time after this conflict is over. Perhaps, with the writing so plainly on the wall, something can be done to reach a lasting peace soon, before too many more die. Hopefully diplomats will look to the 1815 Council of Vienna, which aimed at, and achieved, avoiding widespread great power conflict for an unprecedented century, not by looking at borders from the perspective of what each power wanted, but what lines and rules were needed for lasting peace. Are our current leaders so motivated?
