  • Have a shower head that is loose in the wall and maybe it travels back and forth in the wall? I'll instruct you on how to fix that yourself.

    Would waterweld plumber epoxy work on this as well?

      Can you provide pictures of the wall your referring to, that will help to possibly finding a solution.

      The foam could possibly be used to reinforce the wall or keep it from collapsing 'horizontally' somewhat. but it would not be suitable for a 'load bearing' wall though.

    How difficult is it to remove in the future?

      if you're referring to the 'metal' extension tube/shower arm, I would have no concerns, Because, once the extension tube/pipe /shower arm, is loosened, it will break free from the grip of the spray foam as well.
      {The pipe that the 'shower head' attaches to, is called a shower arm. It can also be referred to as an extension arm, extension pipe, or shower elbow, as it forms a 90-degree angle to reach the shower head}
      The foam will remain inside the wall cavity as the tube/pipe/shower arm is removed from the wall.
      And in the foam a tunnel will have formed into which a new tube/pipe /shower arm, can be inserted into, and will allow the shower arm to thread into the 'wall pipe' that is located behind the drywall/sheet rock'.
      Now, if you're wanting to replace the dry wall around the extension tube/shower arm, then the foam will come out with the drywall sections.
      A person will mostly have to 'cut it free' from the extension tube/pipe/ shower arm, using a serrated knife would be best or any cutting instrument, but a knife of some type would be best over scissors. I hope I have answered your question and have helped.

      @@flywelder yes, thank you very much. Sounds like a good short-term solution.
