Yo Merlin, may you assist me or even us to find Mandarin/Chinese simplified keycaps since it is not really easy to find these days whether it is on Ali or Taobao it just brings up Japanese keycaps. Thanks.
For Black Friday 2020 I bought the GMMK TKL hotswap with "unholy pandas" (i.e. I didn't like them) deal for IIRC $99. For Black Friday 2023 Glorious has been blowing out the barebones GMMK keyboards for $22 each, so I bought another 4 of them. :D I now have 7 or 8 of them, and it's gonna be more fun to store my keycaps on keyboards instead of boxes or trays. ;)
A lot of great sets would never have happened without the group buy model. I'm fine with paying more to launch the set, if that's what it takes to get it made at all.

Group buys are dumb they just go on sale later

Personally I think it gives people the option of when they want to buy however they want to justify it.
