Its been a while since I played but IIRC arts cancel is +0.2, unless you do a full AA cycle and cancel the last set into an art rotation, in which case it continues to use whichever cancel bonus you get from the auto you used. HyperT and Enel both have videos showcasing it I think.
So, how do Arts and Specials with their own damage bonuses factor in (for example, ULFS Max has a bonus against Toppled enemies, what does it add to or does it multiply everything, and what about Arts and Specials that have bonuses for attack cancelling and for critical damage), what are the bonuses for damage from Arts cancelling and for cancelling into and from a Blade Switch, what do the Blade Arts that buff damage actually do, and why didn't you mention Transmigration when talking about defence?
Arts/Special damage bonuses go into the additive multipliers. No specials have cancel bonuses. Arts that do get their damage multiplied by 1+x% (where x is dependant on the auto attack cycle number, accessories equipped, and the driver affinity chart). Critical damage is its own multiplier - a base of 1.25x damage that is increased for each critical damage increase (e.g. it becomes 2.1x damage for Herald level 1 special since it has +85%). Blade switch I can't remember but I think its the same as an arts cancel which is +0.2. Arts Plus and Back Attack Plus increase damage by 50%. Again can't remember (ask over a year ago and I might know lol) but its probs additive. Transmigration is cool, can't answer that for him though.
You misunderstood the question there. Some Driver Arts have a conditional damage bonus that activates with attack cancelling (and gives them the white spikes around their damage numbers), and I was wondering where THAT bonus is applied, not where the normal one is applied, and that's what you're talking about. The Arts with this bonus claim to reach damage +100%.
@@alexstewart9592 For the ones that say "Adds 100% to damage ratio after cancelling an auto-attack"?. It is quite simple. The damage ratio of the art is increased by that %.
