This day was amazing, so funny and do think i was a bit harsh on the review, have to say though i genuinely thought we would of had to out ran that cow mid parkrun, hilarious day!
I have the Glycerin GTS20 and find them great. Really comfortable, lightweight and the guiderails (GTS) system definitely helps with stability, love them.
That’s good to know! I certainly thought the ones I ran in were comfortable 😃 good to hear you’ve had a great experience with them! And thanks for watching 😁
That's cool that you get to try on the shoes like that for a race situation. Was the race sponsored in some part by Brooks? I like Brooks and have been wearing them for years. The Adrenaline is my "go-to" shoe but I think like Chris said, it was pretty ordinary workhorse. I think it is fairly budget friendly though, giving you a decent shoe for all around running. I recently upgraded to the Glycerin (non-GTS) and I like that one as well, but it was another $20 USD. I found that it is a decent shoe for harder efforts, but definitely not top of the line for racing. I think it is basically an Adrenaline with better foam. Did a trail 5K race this weekend at an apple orchard. Definitely harder to race a trail run versus a road one. Beautiful course though. Keep up the videos!
Hey Eddie! It was part of their Run Happy Tour, and they had a joint offer on with Parkrun where you got to try the shoes and got money off of your purchased - so agreed, a good way to try them! So glad to hear you get on with yours so well! Well done on the race, it sounds like a really pretty venue! Chris raced yesterday too on a really hilly course, video coming soon! Thanks for watching 😃
Have almost 1000 miles over 2 pairs of Ghost 14s used for everything bar trail. Been looking for something to reduce impact on long, slow runs. Glycerin are supposed to be softer than Ghost but haven't had chance to try them. Also looking for something between Vaporfly and Ghosts for the faster training sessions & was considering Hyperions. 😂
It’s great to hear they work for you and I’ve got to be honest, the Glycerins were okay and I think would be comfortable after so many miles. I wouldn’t take Johnny’s review as gospel 😂 not sure they’re built for the trails! Thanks for watching Glenn! 😃
Brooks come in 4 widths, could be that Jonny's were too narrow rather than needing an 8.5? The Glycerines soften up nicely after a little while(about 40-50 miles)and seem to last well i have some at 450 miles that look pretty much new and still feel really comfy.
Aw thanks Ollie! I didn’t know that about the widths! I enjoyed the Glycerines but they were more on the firm side, so it’s good to know that they soften up! Glad to hear yours have been a good purchase! Thanks for watching 😃

I think maybe that cow just wanted to be a parkrunner too! :)
Haha I think you’re right Kendra 😂 thanks for watching!

I'm deeply moved by your video! ° "Triumph emerges from relentless and unwavering dedication."
Thanks for watching! 😁
Keeping up with shoe names and types doesn't seem to ever be in my future - the numbers, letters, names... confusing
Haha I totally agree Gordon! 😂 thanks for watching!
