Hi Adventures with Jade! 👋 THANK YOU so much for your feedback. That means a lot to me! We had an AWESOME time in Ubud.. we are looking forward to going back! Thank you for watching ❤️
Great vlog.. I just found your channel. I love Ubud & that walk up Jalan Kajeng with the messages in the road & the rice fields at the top. Sweet Orange warung is so cute & the decorated coconut shells hanging all around are all paid for & painted by tourists to raise funds tp provide rubbish collection service in the ricefields. Rambutans - yum. Your homestay was gorgeous. 😊🌴
Great vlog! Arrived in Bali 5 days ago with my son for his 18th bday (in the hope of eat, pray, love!) heading to Ubud next week - thanks for the tip offs and view of the landscape ahead of time. Much appreciated xx
Hello shooanna1! 👋 thank you so much for your feedback... means a lot! Have a wonderful time in Bali, it will be an 18th birthday he'll never forget! Cheers and happy birthday! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Greetings from Kanata, Ontario! Ubud has changed so much, it was not as chaotic as your video and yeah I got sucked on that same black beach. We drove on that back beach, we had to get some locals to help us.. I love Rambutan and find Snake Fruit is a bit sour to me… Stay safe!
Hi 👋! Thanks for watching as always! Yes, traffic is crazy here, I hate to say it but I think you'd get used to it after awhile......? Maybe lol. I really liked both fruits, surprisingly 😋
Ohhhhh, AWESOME! you'll have a great time! Bring your patience with the traffic..... but other than that. ... have a great time!! Thank you for watching! 😁

Snake fruit doesn't taste like Grape lol , I think your partner got it right with the Jack fruit description . It does have the texture of a pear type, you got that part right .Thank you guys for the video , I enjoyed it very much .
Hi Wendi! 👋 We were lucky, we are everything and didn't get "Bali belly".... BUT.....we didn't drink the water! Thank you for your feedback! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
Hi Libra Darlington, thank you for watching our vlog! We were in bali for 5 weeks..... looking forward to going back NOT in the rainy season, but even in the rain, we had a great time. Hoping to do 2 more vlogs about Bali that I hope you will enjoy! Thanks again for watching ❤️
Hello :) we have only a couple of hours stopping over in ubud 'town' (the central area). As things are kind of spread out on Google maps, I'm wondering if you can recommend a particular area /street that is highly walkable and has lots of interesting shops /cafes / massage options? And also the quieter areas that you showed toward the middle of video leading to the rice fields?
Hi there! If you only have a few hours.... the main road has plenty of things to see with many streets that off shoot it. There's the art market that leads to the rice fields, I'm just not sure it will give you enough time to do much else. .... but the art street/market and rice fields are pretty! I'll add a link to the market here ⬇️.. maps.app.goo.gl/3jfBmpWSdBUezxeD8
Fantastic video - thank you. Looks like you were really enjoying Ubud I'm researching a trip to Bali for next year. Could I ask what month were you in Ubud? Video was uploaded Nov. Was it filmed Oct/Nov? Thanks again.
Thanks for your feedback! We had a great time! Yes, we were in Bali for the full month of October and a few days in November 👍Thanks for watching and had a great trip!
@@wattstraveling I have spent 5 months of my life in Bali . It's a very special place and your video showed just that . We live in Edmonton alberta Canada. Your also from canada I presume. It's 30 below freezing today. Bitter cold . Stay well 🙏.

Is the ubud market closed now? I saw in another video they were doing major construction…seems like it started months ago by the look of it. Is this another ubud market then?
Hi from Montréal! planing our first trip to Bali but don’t know where to go to find undiscovered areas! I thought that bud was still quiet..I guess we have to search again -:) would you say a scooter is a must? Or one could get around without? Thanks for the video ! Very informative
Hello Montreal 👋...... we LOVED having a scooter, but I can understand why people don't because it's very congested and worrisome for a lot of people. If you have experience in a scooter I say YES! Canggu, Seminyak and Ubud....all very busy (already I thought so) but they told me it wasn't even the busy season yet! Yikes..... so by the time you go, it will probably be worse. But we felt very safe just riding around and exploring..... we saw so much from our scooter! It was AWESOME! have a great trip and thank you so much for watching! ❤️ Canggu, seminyak and Ubud all very walkable... meaning things are close by..... but there's a lack of space and sidewalks are in poor condition in some areas.
That’s the problem with places that get too popular, its certainly not going to change in this multi media world. I’ve been to Ubud/Bali four times in 20 years and its no exception! Am living in Thailand now for 3 years and have found many areas that don’t have many tourists, it’s a fine balance to choose where to live a retired life in the world 🌎
Hi Roy Goad! 👋 You are 100 % correct, retirement is definitely a balance! Happy to hear you are enjoying Thailand, it's on our lists of places to retire for sure! 👍 thank you for watching and commenting!
Hello from Quebec, Canada, will be going in Bali in October for a motorcycle tour, I have a a few questions, when you get to the airport us it easy to get all your stuff sort it out ? Immigration, sim card etc... when you arrived where you super exhausted and how many days did you take for the jet lag ? I got so many questions..thanks / merci Nathalie
Hello Nathalie from Quebec! 👋 keep in mind it will be the beginning of rainy season in October, you might need to purchase a rain poncho! When you arrive in Denpasar it's very easy to pay for your entry fee and get a sim card. (I did a video on "things to know before you go" ) and it's explained in the video. I can't speak to jet lag because we'd been traveling South East Asia for the whole year, sorry. Great questions! Thank you for watching! ❤️
