I think I know why the concept would work because traditionally (in hindus) if first wife dies and the person remarries, the new wife not only takes role in husband's family but in many cases also maintains good relationship with first wives' parents too.. so in a way like a younger sister takes her place.. My current husband is my second husband. I am his second wife. he is leo sun/asc at 8 and 10 degrees respectively, and moon in scorpio, 18 degrees. Suggestions? was he supposed to marry a Taurus?
No that’s not how it was mentioned, what Joni said was “see about the second or third marriage partner from ur chart by counting 3places from your natal chart, the sign you reach doesn’t really have to be the second wife’s lagna”. Joni meant “read about the characteristics of second wife by making your natal 9th house as ascendant”

I have Rahu in my 8th ( second house of future spouse) I have been asked to get married three times since my first marriage at age twenty - and no Vedic astrologer has ever said that Rahu in this placement brings a very wealthy spouse. Just go to any software enter the date you will find the planetary positions and whatever is your lagna make that as your first house. From there you can see the transit chart for that particular day

There are many. But the problem is, they do not analyze a chart unlike humans do. Stringent rules do not work in astrology. Various factors should be taken into consideration while analyzing a chart.
