I would say BSc CS and BCA differences depends on universities. In calicut university BCA and BSc CS is litterally same apart from the question paper. BCA has got more programming questions and BSc CS has more algorithm and theory based.

This is what happened to me and all our classmates whom have done BSc CS from SD college Panipat (Kurukshetra University). As far as the placement We didn't get on campus interview in our college. Even teacher who were teaching at the college they were pursuing their master degree and college allowed them to teach in the college how reckless our college was. And they didn't even bother to tell us about job opportunities. After graduation most of classmates had no idea what job they going to get and what position they should apply for. And Projects, volunteer, resume were alien words for us because college didn't bother to tell us about it.
