NEW doubledecker train | Busto Arsizio - Domodossola | Trenord REG Tripreport

Hi rail maniacs! Glad you find your way to my another video!
Today I will be traveling from a small town of Busto Arsizio to Domodossola, to Swiss borders. I will ride a new Trenord train also called “Rock”. Will it be a pleasent ride?

1:33 Train shown here is TAF (Treno ad Alto Frequentazione) EMU type. It's third oldest trainset in operation by TreNord, being introduced in 1998. It's the same as ONCF Z2M. The main manufacturer of them was Ansaldo-Breda. That one you rode in this video is also known as "Rock", but if it's owned by TrenItalia (because, if buying trains for regional purposes, it names them after musical styles (when I rode from Ciampino Airport to hotel in Rome, we rode the "Jazz" train (very common in Rome's suburban line FL4, which we used it), which was produced by Alstom as part of Coradia family and is in service since 2014).

No that train is the TSR wich means in italian treno servizio regionale.

The train they rode it's a "Caravaggio", the original version of this type of train, "Rock" is a variant of the "Caravaggio" model with quite some differences.

Caravaggio's first name was indeed Michelangelo, but he is not to be confused with Michelangelo...
