The transition from Mario Paint to Yoshi's island managed to make me cry a little. I always have a weakness for slow/peaceful ending themes dammit. This was an amazing collab. Everyone worked so hard for this and it shows.
The Mario Paint and Yoshi's Island style ones were really well done, in fact Yoshi's Island sounds like something like Nintendo could have actually done back in the day to link it to the original SMW, amazing.

@@grimTales1 its been a while since i checked this, (ive changed online handles since) but i'm the one behind the mario paint portion. what was really shocking about that part is that me and dest (the person who did the yoshis island part) had virtually no real coordination starting our parts (aside from being told our parts would have to go together) , we both made our parts very separately but they managed to fit together very fantastically with very little revision to come after i'm glad you could enjoy the music
I absolutely adored working on this. After months of work, seeing the culmination of so many cool, creative people all working together really is something special

The Super Metroid one here is my favorite, it's just so different yet familiar in tone. Super Metroid has one of the best soundfont for any game made with one. The instrumental one was also finnominal

I absolutely love this! I also really loved the Kirby's Adventure collab that was done a few years ago as well. I loved the Kirby, Crash Bandicoot and Yoshi's Island bits in this, but I definitely would listen to an entire Big Band version!
