11:05 I found that while playing that the 3 of a kind jokers affects full houses and four of a kinds because the card says if it "contains a 3 of a kind"

I’m putting off playing this game further until it is released, already spent substantial amounts of time just doing runs. Curious what the odds of getting negative joker variant are.
i have about 20 hours i have gotten one negative joker from the shop and never gotten one from the 1 in 5 token because its too punishing to take. if you want negatives take spectral packs.
Frost spectral packs are diffrent they stack onto like lucky or glass cards wich makes it insane
I was a little skeptical when I saw your first video on it, but after downloading and playing it it's absolutely crazy how fun it is

I love superposition it makes for really fun runs. It'd be cool if it was high straights are one type of card and low straights were the other though.
Sounds neat, but four fingers would be a (solvable) problem.
22:47 actually there are 2 different types of "buffing" you can give to cards.
Lucky, Steel, Multi, Gold Sealed, Glass, and the one that adds +20 chips all count and overwrite each other
And
Foil, Holo, and Poly all overwrite each other. So you could technically get a glass polychrome card, those give some stupid multi bonuses!
The only way I can remember which is which is thinking of it like the Foil, Holo, and Polychromatic are all card "finishes" and the others are all card "prints" like the different types of cardboard (or glass in one case) you'd use for printing the cards on

I'm really surprised that you're getting this much out of the demo, which is overall a bit limited on how much stuff is in it. Honestly at this point Thunk should give you an early access code to show off the newest stuff on stream lol

While i like the idea of balatro, i am highly critical when it comes to execution. It's too much rng and not enough skill, albeit pretty much entire skill in poker is bluffing, it is still much more skill based than balatro..

I’ve been playing this game a fair bit and I gotta say, straight decks kinda suck, there’s not a lot of good ways to improve there consistency which is a massive issue and x of a kind decks and flush decks have a large number of avenues to improving there consistency putting them at a huge advantage

Can spectral a card and tarot a single card. Just can’t do 2 of the same effect. So 2 tarots won’t work

So from what I've been watching on this, cards on your deck can have 1 tarot effect and 1 spectral effect. Watched something the other day where the guy made a something like 100 BILLION chip hands with 5 glass polychrome jacks.
