WHAT I'M LOOKING FWD TO MOST OVER THE HOLIDAYS (& MY EMAIL): This has been a difficult year for my family. My husband lost his mom to breast cancer in February. They were very close, and she was an amazing life source when came to advice about raising girls... I have 4 of them. Then in May our 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with Major Depression Disorder after attempting suicide. We have struggled a lot this year, but the holidays are something that always bring us joy. We come together in the kitchen to cook while listening to nonstop Christmas music on 105.7. Ihad a friend give me the best advice about prepping our Thanksgiving dinner over a couple of days so that we can just throw everything in the oven to cook. I will be doing that this year so that on Thanksgiving Day I can spend the day listening to cheerful Christmas music with my 4 beautiful and amazing little girls and husband, and spend the day decorating for Christmas. The music, the lights, the togetherness, the time of year to truly count our blessings... This year we are looking forward to EVERYTHING about the holidays, because trials and tribulations have really made us realize just how important all of it is. I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas. To those of you who are going through a difficult time right now whatever your situation may be - I have you in my prayers.
