wow every second of every video is full of treasure: When you aren't being funny and cool on the stream, engaging with viewers, you are providing awesome chess content accessible to begginers but nevertheless super fundamental and strong.
I love this series and this channel. I can’t afford private lessons, but I feel like the content of these videos is exactly what I’d receive in private lessons. Thank you Coach!
I just want you to know that I found your channel BECAUSE of the cheating accusation. First video I watched (except for the "cheating" videos) and I can already tell that you're gonna be one of my top chess channels!
Thank you, that makes a lot of sense now that you've explained it. I think I need to do some more study on pawn structures, as I've noticed that me moving pawns tends to lead to weaker positions.
14:55 For the record, white can avoid this idea by playing 2.Bf4, then after e3 and c3 the key move 5.Nd2 to free up the rook on a1 so black's c4 and Bf5 tactics don't work as well
No serious player/streamer considers your action deemed to be "cheating" in any manner. Kc was discussing about the video in his recent stream and was outright in your support. That dude's channel is all about gaining cheap popularity and views while you create marvelous chess content here for free. It's better to just ignore him and move along. PS : Eagerly waiting for your next stream.
We don't come here to watch you win games. We come here to learn the reasons behind your moves and to understand chess positions and structures. Even if you have an engine running the whole time (which you don't), I would still come here for the explanations. Cheers!
These Amateur's Mind videos are still my favorites. Also, Ive been playing a fair amount OTB lately and when someone makes a move that offers a trade of pawns, I usually default to not taking simply because I dont want to give them what they want. Whatever theyre planning, Im not going for it. Ill either push of defend the threatened pawn. I might take if I see theyve miscalculated or if I think I see some advantage for me that they might not see, but all other things being equal, I usually still default to "To take is a mistake". Is this still an accurate way to think? I remember ChessExplained making a comment once that this way of thinking is falling out of favor, but he never gave any further explanation on that.
I'm still gonna follow your videos, because honestly you are a fantastic chess teacher. however, your video about the cheating was completely ridiculous - you DID cheat, therefore you shouldn't have attacked string dogg who honestly did nothing wrong... the only thing you should have done is apologise.
Some Lichess mods are kind of fascits btw. They will ban you just for looking bad at your opponent, but these are the politically correct times, so I get it.
I've been a mod in some other websites and I just wanna defend their side: it's hard to maintain quality on a website with millions of games every day. You end up sometimes getting less patient. It's not on purpose, but better safe than sorry
Dude the only person worried about that whole "incident" is you. Nobody thinks you cheated. We still love you man.

That polish kid who challenged you is now a 2585 GM. Talented indeed
I really like it when you go through the "history" of particular moves and how opening theory developed. Interesting.

What a life you must have if you can play b5 b4 TWICE in a chess game. Luxury.
Andras there is no way you're a cheater. Anyone with half a brain can put that together with your obvious skill level and your genuine demeanor.
Thank you for the valuable instructions!
Could you turn down the lichess move sound? It's uncomfortably loud on headphones. Great video.
Friggin love this video. Extremely useful information.
