I will show you my tests of the wood gas gasifier with an 8 kW gasoline generator at the institute. The compression ratio of the engine was raised to thirteen and a half. Typically, wood gas withstands a compression ratio of fourteen and a half without detonation because its octane number is around one hundred thirty.
A microprocessor ignition control system was installed on the engine. During the tests, the engine ran smoothly. The gas was purified to perfect cleanliness using ordinary means and finally an electric filter.
The station was placed on a mobile platform one and a half by one and a half meters in size, which moved on wheels.

How did you increase so much compression ratio?
Did you thinking adding turbocharger?

I found a good engine master and he increased my compression. He did not install a turbocharger. It costs 4 times more than the gasoline generator I used.
