- A user asked how to do waypoint flights with the Ruko U11 GPS Drone. I had a moment, so let's get crackin!
Great little drone for about $200. Especially since there is a $50 off coupon at the moment. Stay tuned as I start pushing it through its paces.
You can find the drone here www.amazon.com...

My U11 is arriving today, so this will be helpful in the future! Thanks for doing this video, and I will keep it as a reference.
Glad it was helpful! Have fun and let me know if you have any questions.
@@HLModTech I have gone to the Rukotoy.com website trying to find detailed instructions for the phone interface. They don't even show the U11 drone anymore. I don't suppose you have any help for this, or is it just learn by experimenting? Thanks.
Loudest big-biox plug-n-play hobby quad ever. Landing sounds like an F-14 here!
Are you describing my video, or your landing? Either way, thanks for chiming in!
@@HLModTech My landing? I'm completely baffled by that. Have you listened to your video? You have to notice the sound and volume of it! The final 20 feet of your descent when landing it sounds like an F-14. I've had this model quad X2 and this is the first time I have watched a Vid demo to discover that others have the same loud sound as mine. I'm not sure what you took personally but it was a pretty cut and dry statement good luck
lol. I have not listened to the video in forever. 🤦 I was not offended at all about your initial comment. I was just trying to diagnose if there was an issue with the drone or something goofy in my video. Thanks again for taking time to comment. 👍
@@HLModTech LOL, okey dokey then. Yeah it was kinda trivial, but your reply was quite confusing and suddenly it's not so trivial. Now it's trivial again. Phew!
Is there a way to save a GPS route to reuse again later? Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for dropping by. I do not have the drone anymore to double check... but my first guess is that the app did not have a way to save the way points.
I need help with my photo and vedio what size of SD do I need to buy
You could get by with an 8 GB one. The footage on that is pretty compressed so I think you’d have a hard time filling one.
I got one for Christmas, thanks for the info!
Awesome! I hope you have a blast with it!
How do I record while flying? I checked the settings and couldn’t find where to turn on audio to live broadcast
I never tried a live broadcast. I only recorded to SD card. Interesting idea though.
@@HLModTech you did the recording after you videoed
Ah, I had a 2nd phone that recorded the flight... then merged the footage to make a video.
I cant set my waypoints like you
How is yours responding? I do not have mine anymore, but maybe I can still come up with something useful... Any chance you have another phone to test it with?
I could not set each waypoint either. Is there a setting that allows you to change each waypoint?@@HLModTech
Hey buddy I just got my drone on Christmas and I test it out yesterday hey went haywire but it's still in one piece that's good so can you do a video on how you set up a GPS and how you do all the flying and coming back down thing please
This is my best vid for the first flight. ruclips.net/video/F8aGtF2ogP4/видео.html Glad yours is in one piece! I am not sure the weather will cooperate for me to make another vid. Michigan weather sucks and the wind is howling this morning.
