Both Puss in Boots movies are available individually in 4K. The first movie is okay (I like it but I understand why other people don’t like it), but the second movie is on par with the first two Shrek movies.
I’d recommend switching that Ultimate Collection with the 6 film Bluray collection since that replaces The Musical with Puss in Boots 2, which is a pretty great trade off since I’d say that rivals Shrek 1 and 2 in quality.
I'd agree, but Puss in Boots 2 is amazing on 4K. He could just buy that, or wait for Universal to make a Puss in Boots 4K 2 movie collection, since there is one on BD.
pretty cool set. sherk is is so cool. did you know that spongbob 300 best episodes box set is out in stores and 3rd 100 episode pack single boxset is also out too. i also found out that i love lucy the complete series on bluray is also out to in stores. hope you find these exciting.
I'm passing on the 4-movie 4K collection. I have the 6-movie collection that has 10 shorts & tv shows as well as Puss In Boots. If they'd upgraded the 6-film set to 4K UHD I would have upgraded, but for now I'm good with the set I have. Normally if I don't already have an animated movie and the cost is within a certain amount difference between the 4K & Blu-ray releases then I'll get the higher quality, but if not I opt for the blu-ray. If I upgrade it would have to blow the former release away and be priced right.
The only films that are missing from this collection are the two puss in boots films but once the fifth SHREK film comes out in 2026 it will no longer be the complete collection of the main SHREK films This is a very good box set not gonna lie if this contained the Blu-ray Disc for the SHREK films I would probably get this box set but I only get 4ks if they come with the blu-ray version because the only 4k player I have is my ps5 but besides my ps5 I only have dvd and blu-ray I do have the dvd version of the box set tho which I’m happy with that box set that I have when SHREK 5 comes out on disc in like 2 years I might upgrade the SHREK films to blu-ray if I feel like it Very good video by the way on this 4k
