Absolutely awesome!!! Watched here then watched it all over again on the TV… man!!!! 🔥🔥🔥y’all jammed!!!Congratulations….🎉 to 40 years Paul PRS team🎉🎉🎉Paul made me cry to for all of y’all!! God bless to 40!and more to come.🎉
Thank you Paul Reed Smith. You have truly carried on guitars into another meaning and innovated it to the best of your ability. I love all the other brands but I’ll come out and say nothing beats PRS. Stays in tune, plays amazing, sounds spectacular and they so damn beautiful. Cheers!!!!
@@timguidry6502 Considering it was freaking NAMM, I’d say it wasn’t far off. I’m sure they respect him, and music is not a competition, but there are some monsters there.
Except it's not really true. I think he knows it too. Many of them have better technical chops. Doesn't make them better players..Takes a lot to really sound "better" than what we're hearing here.
So do I. Especially trying to play it and sing the parts. Adrenaline was pumping, but we locked. Felt good. John and everyone on stage was more than happy, and that’s all that matters! People can talk a whole lot of crap, but it felt great in the venue.
PRS should have made a bigger guitar for John Mayer.. This one makes him look like he’s playing a kid’s guitar. It would be one of a kind guitar ever made.
Herman Li was there too🤩 I remember a conversation he had with Tim Henson, they both said that the only really cool solos in pop today are John Mayer's.
Please reupload this with louder volume. If there's a new audio or video guy working on this please at least use PRS's demo videos as a reference for the loudness
@ yes of course; Bob and Mark are also in Snarky Puppy. I was just pointing out that it's not new to see Bob and Mayer together. Bob has played sax for Mayer on a number of tours across North America, Europe and beyond.
About 20 years ago a friend opened the case on a PRS,, I never forgot the dreamy look and feel,,, I just bought a custom 10 fire red burst,, I cannot put it down seems like. The most awesome guitar I have ever owned.
Outstanding!! Besides being an absolute Guitar God, John Mayer is one of the most phenomenal human beings on the planet, and sooo humble. He's got it all and he shares❤
Thank you Paul and the entire PRS team. You build amazing guitars and I love mine. Congratulations on 40 years!! The guitar industry would not be the same if you were not in it.
Just Amazing. I have never picked a PRS out of a box that wasn't perfect, but more importantly wanted to put down once I plugged it in. Just 5 min turns into 5hrs. Great to see it turn 40 thanks to an absolute incredible innovative genius and all the people at PRS.
Congrats to Paul and all the people at PRS! I get emotional when I see Paul with hair all gray. Can’t help but to think one day he’s not gonna be here anymore. Kinda reminds me of Steve Jobs and Apple. I’m sure the company will continue to strive and carry on, but the genius behind all the magic won’t be there one day. To Paul, I wish you longevity, health and happiness! To PRS, you deserve all the praise and success! Keep going, keep innovating, never stop.
amazing
What in the mix is going on
they unlisted it lol, best moment 4:35

Did you find any other clips of this show? I saw a few on M Lettieri's page but otherwise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@ I am sure there will be! I have just started streaming in.
My boy Chandler loving it at 6:40! You can tell how much this meant to all the players in that room, what a night!

The Bass Guitarist 🙌🏿🔥🔥
Very good Musicians 👌🏿
Wes Stephenson. Guy is an animal. Check on the tune "Magnetar" by Mark Lettieri Group for more of his chops.
@fatfredthe28th thank you, let me do that.
I love paul,such a treasure,I want a prs now
Very true word by John Meyer. Happy 40th anniversary Paul and the company!
Congratulations to Paul, and the entire PRS family! Here's to 40+ more years of great guitars! CHEERS!
we need more volume!!!!!
exactly !
the volume is absolutely perfect if you can turn it louder with good speakers. Its not overcompressed like all the contend nowadays normally is
-21db loudness is a bit weird here
yeah then an ad pops with 10x volume
@@ayeapprove Yeah it was "mastered" like hell without knowing youtube take -14 at max. So it is actually overcompressed.
PRS make amazing copies! well done!
of what?
Bev is awesome!. Great moment for our beloved PRS
Congrats Paul and thank you
Two of my favorite musicians ever - great video
pure passion!!! I love it!
That was epic!
I love how at about 12:15 where Mark is playing and watching JM's fret hand to see what he's doing.
Congrats to PRS ! Happy 40th anniversary!
Nice show!
8:17 love that ML smiling on the special vibe and tuning statement JM said 😄
Damn, playing with dead and Co. really influenced that solo I feel like. Love how it got a little out there at the end.
Me encanta lo agradable que es escuchar esta música. ❤❤❤. Es realmente agradable.
"Many of you play guitar better than I do"
Another reason to love John. He keeps it humble and real.
Except thats not even close to being true lol

Maybe better, but not as well 😉👍

Gosh it’s like 2010 all over again when Bob came in
Editor didnt set the right volume to this video!
COOL 😎
Why'd they switch from WMIC to Cor-Tek?
blooooody
Sound man, TURN IT UP!!
We were loud as heck in that room. FOH had it pumping inside the venue. This is an upload issue, not sound man.
Really great! I do wish he had a little 3 piece female gospel background vocal sections for those high parts though.
I would have traded that sax solo for a Mark solo!!!
God !! Here I realize and understand how good tempo and groove by Steve Jordan!!
So do I. Especially trying to play it and sing the parts. Adrenaline was pumping, but we locked. Felt good. John and everyone on stage was more than happy, and that’s all that matters! People can talk a whole lot of crap, but it felt great in the venue.
It's quite loud on my phone, why many people complaining it's low volume?
Compare it to the other videos on this same channel
WTF is with the sound level? All we have are bopping heads on a stage.
Willem Dafoe killin on the tenor sax
Wes! Killin' it!
Buddy Holly and Robben Ford on one stage..... unbelieveble! 😱
Not the collab I thought I needed, but damn this is sooo good
Man this is great. Thanks PRS for recording and sharing this. Any other recordings from the party? Keen to see David Grissom if so ;-)
OMG is that Pete Townsend at 06:52? FFS let's see the whole show!
I don’t think that is haha but it looks so much like him. Gosh seriously though is it? I even pulled up a side by side and keep going back and forth
Side profile view at 7:16 looks less like him to me.
it would be a crime if you dont release this whole show
I have to think PRS is going to dribble out more clips of this in the upcoming weeks to keep up the hype. Mark Lettieri has some other bits on his FB.
Volume level 11, please.
Surely this mix can be a little hotter. Great recording, just bump the overall volume up if at all possible.
I need a hypeman like John!
PRS should have made a bigger guitar for John Mayer.. This one makes him look like he’s playing a kid’s guitar.
It would be one of a kind guitar ever made.
John co-designed his own guitar with Paul like down to the last inch. He chose the size of it, dude.
It wasn't in vain that Bob was the sax player on Where The Light Is
Dani from The Warning on stage? That's very cool. PRS Amazing instruments.
Super low volume video.
I’m going to forget my car volume is up this high later
🤣
“Too nice” Sums it up really well 😀😀
Miralo a Johnny Knoxville
Please create a better silver sky headstock
Lettieri should have gone crazy!!!
Why?
Why is the volumes so low ?? get a new video editor..
Why the silver sky Is not a 25" scale 24frets...????....
Please re-upload with louder sound, almost no s o u n d in this recoding
dat sax solo.
Post the PHILIP SAYCE one 🔥🔥🔥🔥
He was amazing…
Herman Li was there too🤩
I remember a conversation he had with Tim Henson, they both said that the only really cool solos in pop today are John Mayer's.
Whoever the bassist is; absolutely crushing
Wes Stephenson (bass), Jason "JT" Thomas (drums) *from Snarky Puppy*, Daniel Porter (keys)
Wes Stephenson is 🔥🔥🔥.
Please reupload this with louder volume. If there's a new audio or video guy working on this please at least use PRS's demo videos as a reference for the loudness
It's kinda funny how John commented on the intonation but he sounded pretty sharp in his bends. Still rocked though!
can barely hear a thing
Such nice words from John he really killed that speech and summed it up well it'll be great to look back on
Mayer, Lettieri and Bob Reynolds on the same stage???? What a time to be alive!!
Bob has frequently played sax for Mayer before. But amazing to see Lettieri up there with them!
@@christianjward Lettieri is in the 'Bob Reynolds Guitar Band' haha, they do much more together than Mayer/Reynolds
@ yes of course; Bob and Mark are also in Snarky Puppy. I was just pointing out that it's not new to see Bob and Mayer together. Bob has played sax for Mayer on a number of tours across North America, Europe and beyond.
At around 1:58 John starts off the solo in traditional fashion, but a few seconds later...OH, How Tasty!
@PRS Guitars any footage of Back in Black with Dany of The Warning and Orianthi????
Oops. Adrenaline is pumping. Should’ve taken some deep breaths. Sounding a bit unstable on this one🤪 Oh well. Still felt good during the moment.
Wooooo Bob Reynolds is on fire... I love the longer solos. I'm going to jam this all week now!
Why is the audio so low? I have to crank my speaker to hear anything.
Jeez I don't know who Judy is but I don't wanna mess with her!
Holy crap that saxaphone player is great
Bob Reynolds is amazing! Do your self a favor and check out his album “Guitar band” it’s so good!
❤ this band makes anyone sound great!
@@bobreynoldswell, you killed it man, well done! I'm def going to go find more of your music now, keep doing what you do!
He used to be in Mayer's band years ago
You can listen to Bob and Mark play in Snarky Puppy. It's a jazz super group that's pretty much a modern day Weather Report.
We need some new music John
Appreciate the sound engineer team. The video sound is so good.
❓It's much too low.
8:40 John shading Fender lmao
The most biggest loss for big F is losing jm. And Probably if jimi and srv still arnd they would leave F too, just sayin
音量小さくないですか?
awesome video
About 20 years ago a friend opened the case on a PRS,, I never forgot the dreamy look and feel,,,
I just bought a custom 10 fire red burst,, I cannot put it down seems like.
The most awesome guitar I have ever owned.
Mark Letierri and John Mayer, two of my fav guitarists together!
definitely! 🔥🎸
Then it is good day for you, Sir. 🫡
who mixed these?😅
The volume is to low!
Can we get an SE of that PRS Saxophone? 😊
😂😂😂😂😂😂
hahaha! right?!
Outstanding!! Besides being an absolute Guitar God, John Mayer is one of the most phenomenal human beings on the planet, and sooo humble. He's got it all and he shares❤
From 05:13 pure joy ❤
5:39 This exchange right here ❤
CONGRATULATIONS PRS!!!
Loved everything!
Can you upload the Philip Sayce set. Would be great to see Mayer and sayce together on stage in the future!
Conglaturations to PRS and happy to see John and Mark at the same time.
Thank you Paul and the entire PRS team. You build amazing guitars and I love mine. Congratulations on 40 years!! The guitar industry would not be the same if you were not in it.

Why is Herman Li there? Isn't he an Ibanez signature artist?
I need this whole set
Me too, I need to see Dani Villarreal of the Warning jamming with Orianthi! And then see Orianthi gifting her guitar to Dani. 😊👍
Immediately
What an incredibly special moment in time. Thanks for posting.
Now I know why his throat needed surgery! the chorus is all falsetto . wonderful performance once again

so excited to see john mayer singing vultures!
came for the guitar wankery, stayed for Bob Reynold's phrasing, damnnnnn
Glad to see Bob Reynolds again it’s been a long time
❤
Snarky Puppy dude
He's been busy killing it all this time
I would like to hear more than the snare and hi-hat please 🙏🏻
Such a bad mix. How embarrassing.
