Great purchases!! I love the Lindy, I'm hoping to get a mini at some point, but they are so difficult to get in TO. I love the texture and softness of clemence leather, I think its perfect for this style of bag. I've never been to Vegas but this makes me want to go just for the shopping!!

Thank you Lynn! We sure did! This is footage from June, so definitely hot, but I didn't hear of any flooding. I remember I visited once a few years back in April and it actually rained the whole time... in the desert! Because the city is not equipped for that sort of precipitation, there were flash flood warnings and it was very slippery to walk outside.
Great video, as always! I love the Bolide and how understated it is, but can be easily dressed up with a twilly or rodeo. You sold me on the Lindy! I never really thought about getting one before, but it does look like a great every day bag and very secure for travel.

I’m Canadian too and I live in the US too. Funny because I have the Lindy 26 ( I absolutely adore this bag) and you are right, the leather feels like Roots. I thought the same thing when I touched it! Good shopping at Vegas, it’s so fun to shop there, I don’t party or gamble when I do but I most definitely shop a lot. 😂

For Europeans doing a bit of a tour of the west of the US, we did a city and nature trip several years back, flying to l.a. moving on to San Diego, then some national parks and natural sights (Joshua tree, Grand Canyon) - we then broke it up with Vegas before doing sequoia national park and Yosemite .. and then ended up in San Francisco, seeing some smaller cities on the Californian coast in between. Anyways, in between national parks and hikes we enjoyed vegas soooo much .. beautiful crazy city life, concerts and shows, even though we don’t gamble and do not even know how to.
Oh that sounds like such an amazing trip! I’ll take notes 📝 we’ve done the drive from LA to vegas and really enjoyed it. Would love to visit all the parks you mentioned. There is so much here in Canada as well to explore. I just wish we had warmer weather year round!

There is a brand called Boyy that sells a bag similar to the Lindy. It’s called the Wonton. I have one and learned about it before I knew about the Lindy. It’s an expensive bag but much more affordable than the Lindy. I actually wore my Wonton when I went into Hermes forgetting that Hermes sells the Lindy. No wonder people were looking at me😊

Someone once made a comment saying the Lindy bag looks like a cat face, especially in black with ghw...like a black cat with yellow eyes. After hearing that I just can't unseen it whenever I come across someone wearing a Lindy 🤣 It's really cute though! The Bolide is cute too but consider how simplistic it is I feel like it doesn't justify the price, at least with Lindy there are some unique elements to it to make it extra special, whereas bolide looks like a watered down version of the Alma BB.

What did you buy before asking about bags ?
On this occasion, I had not asked about any bags. I was offered a bag from this boutique upon my first visit to the store on this trip. That being said, I did already have purchase history at this store from previous trips. I recall I purchased a pair of shoes and a belt on my previous trip. On this occasion, the bag was the first thing offered to me before I purchased anything at this visit. After I saw the bag and opted to go for it, I looked at the other items and purchased after. Keep in mind, this bag isn't a quota bag, even though it is a tough combo to come across, but it's not a quota item. Hope that helps!

@@daniaalbassam561 it certainly helps. But few people have reported being able to purchase bags and small leather goods without any purchase history. Depends on stock that day and allocation to sales associates.
I may be the only person who says this but I am not a Hermes person. I never gravitated to a Kelly or a Birkin, but the Lindy is nice and original.

Didn't understand the US price being more. US total is $8,453 vs Canadian $9,831. Gorgeous bag. The Picotin was mirrored after horse feed bags hence the simple shape. 😍
Thank you! So the US dollar is higher than the Canadian dollar. US price was 7800 usd which is equal to $10k cad - well over the base Candian price. Overall, I've noticed for most items, the Canadian price is cheaper than the US.
