    Hi amazing tutorial but one question, my only problem is mcdu and it is way too confusing for me. I don’t know where to get all the data from to put in, can you please help me? And is it even required to do mcdu? I see lots of simmers not even doing it.

    Any idea what that random beeping noise is? sounds like a aural warning?

    • @ThePlaneGuy
      @ThePlaneGuy  4 года назад

      Yeah that can be quite normal. What happens during the start up a lot of the computers because there is a lot on the airbus go throught tests and alike. These tests would set of the alarms so it is normal. However I believe here they were going off like all the time and well i think that might be a small glitch. I have now the updated version and have no issues, so it may be a slight bug as well.

    Nice tutorial, but no-offense, please stop treating this plane like a Boeing... Next to the button where you switch cameras is a knob, which enables or disables showing the camera on the ecam display. You are supposed to keep that knob in the off position unless the lovely F/A enters the code on the other side of the door and triggers the buzzer, at which point , you turn it on and verify it is someone who is authorized to enter the cockpit, and then you, as the captain get to decide whether or not you want to open the door. Now, if this is the way you do it, the Airbus actually shows you how much of a clever plane it actually is. It automatically switches between ECAM pages. When you move the Engine Mode Selector to 'Start/Ignition', the Airbus automatically displays the ENG page, and when you start moving your elevators/ailerons on the ground, it detects a flight control test and displays the F/CTL page. During Taxi and during the takeoff role, (not during the F/CTL check) and also on approach, it displays the wheel page, when you're airborne, and have your landing gears up, it goes to the cruise page, where it displays a whole lot of info. Including Cabin Alt, differential pressure, cabin temperature, and a whole host of info. Oh, and when you turn on the APU master switch, it automatically displays the APU page, and I might have missed on a few more.. And when I see people manually selecting ECAM pages, and not deselecting them after they see what they want to, I honestly cringe a lot... Now I have not watched the rest of this series, and I don't know if you have corrected this mistake, but yeah, here's the deal. I also love how I wrote a whole essay for a silly mistake like this one.. :D
    ++ If I'm not wrong, I don't think you actually locked the cockpit door. :D

    thanks a lot for the video. i have two questions. first what's the simulator you fly with..? ((fsx or p3d )) and second question is a problem .i do have with my aerosoft a330 installed on p3dv4.4. my aircraft does NOT follow the route after autopilot engagement. do you have any idea how can i fix it...??

    • @tranquilohomie2248
      @tranquilohomie2248 4 года назад +1

      u need the hotfix 2 and p3d v4.5 to make the aircraft work correctly without bugs.

    • @ThePlaneGuy
      @ThePlaneGuy  4 года назад

      Firslty this is only for P3DV4. Secondly with the autopilot do you have the HDG bug pushed is this will put it into nav mode. Plus also What HURHUR says as well.

    Great video ! ❤️❤️❤️

  • @zk9058
    @zk9058 4 года назад +1

    Great video. I was taught that it’s good practice to first turn on the ground control button (GND CTL) on the overhead panel after establishing power to the aircraft. This button turns on the cockpit voice recorder. Typically the voice recorder automatically begins recording when the engine starts. By pressing the GND CTL button, you override the automatic control, turning it on immediately so you can record all preflight activity. Obviously it doesn’t matter in the sim, but in the real world it serves as a critical tool in the event of an accident during flight. Just sayin....

    • @ThePlaneGuy
      @ThePlaneGuy  4 года назад

      Im not sure, I mean I mostly fly Boeing. However in my expreince I dont take anything for granted as I find different airlines can have different set up procedures. I say when it comes to study sim as long as you know what will happen when you flick said switch, your sound. This is the good thing about flightsim you can mix it up and do whatever you want in that regard.
