Sweden is (alongside with Russia and Azerbaijan) one of the very few countries that wants to win every year and send a possible winner every year. If all the countries had that winning mentality, the level of Eurovision would be much higher, but a lot of countries are only happy to be there and even don't try to win.

Amazing song and really underrated! I think it didn't do that well because there were too many similar entries in 2008 (female soloists with mini skirts, singing dance tracks), so Sweden kind of got lost.
Underrated as an song, YES! My top3 of the year! However, after rewatching this multiple times, you can see what killed the entry. The act is way too simple and boring for the first 1:20 mins. Even when the first chorus hits in, all she does is walking a bit forward.... In the second part of the entry things get better, however remain very basic and very repetitive. They also had to compete against so many other very good uptempo entries (Ukraine, Greece, Armenia, Iceland,...) Sweden was act-wise outcompeted and thus didn't gain alot of votes.
I'm still wondering why we didn't get a better placing in the grand final? What is missing in this performance? One of our best entries in eurovision song contest.
