That's pretty much what most people seem to use to rout a radius. The trick is that without a CNC to do it for you getting the radius right is a pain in the anal behind. Man do I want a CNC.
Not only glue, you need screws to put it together.

Good jig but the sled is a true 12" radius here. The fretboard is unfortunately not, its smaller by how much you lower the bit.
It still has to be finished with the radius block and just a few swipes puts it exact. ;)
@scarmyguitar if you rout with the bit lowered 1" below the sled just build a 13" radius sled.
Sanding will take 10 seconds with 400 grit

Did you face the waste board/rail. If that's not level you are going to not have a even fret board
