In your first example, I see a potential issue. When you calculate "within group" variation --> It can monotonically increase with increase in N. Whereas the numerator "Between group" only increases with increase in the number of groups. Increasing number of observations does not change it. That cannot be right. Something seems wrong.

7:43 while calculating between group variation why you multiplied with 10? instead of dividing of by 3 or 2
moreover while calculating method A, B, C variance why you are not dividing the sum by 10? because variance is (xi - mean)^2/(n-1)

you says Num. Degree of freedom= no. Of samples = 3, whereas there are 30 samples divided equally among 3 groups, so you mean to say 3 groups? Also care to explain the degree of denominator freedom? Coz un that you said "sum of values" 9:07

Overall mean is not mean of means....
Let 3 means by x/N, y/N, z/N (where x,y,z are sum of observations in each group).
Overall mean = (x+y+z)/N
But mean of means would be (x/N + y/N + z/N)/3 = (x+y+z)/3N
The are the same overall mean is (x+y+z)/3N.
See that 3N is the population size
