Never was a band more fitting of universal respect than those great men of iron-worth known as The Dubliners - As tough as old boots and as hard as sharp nails, Ronnie, Ciarán, Luke, Barney and John Sheahan forever we praise! We also hail and give utmost respect to the proud men who joined in for decades long sets, (Pray For Us) Jim McCann, Paddy Reilly, Sean Cannon, Eamon Campbell and of course Patsy Watchorn last of all lest we not forget the late Bobby Lynch who like no other while wearing his suit, would sing about the unfortunate oul Kerry Recruit...
@@oscardusk9467 John Sheahan is still with us and flies their flag high having recently celebrated his 80th birthday! A great great man and an outstanding folk and traditional musician who honed his craft to the utmost of perfection over the course of over 50 years as a Dubliner - maith an fear John, go raibh míle, míle maith agat mo chara...
One mid summer's night when the evenings were long and bright, the Dubliners had a gig down the country. The gig was cancelled due to some dignitary dying suddenly in the town, so the lads headed into a pub. They drank into the wee small hours, and as they were exiting the pub as dawn was breaking, Barney turns to Ronnie and says " Ah Ronnie, but isn't there a great old stretch in the evenings all the same!"
Please no dislikes!!! If you do not love them, leave them. They certainly deserve respect!

Our Dubliners, You are Great Guys!!!
Paddy Reilly is clean-shaven
The Barney anecdote around 2 minutes is hilarious and particularly poignant now that he has sadly passed.
♥♥♥ Ure the BEST, Dubliners
These interviews make me want to keep growing facial hair.
