You should have try the chocolate and tell us which one taste best it would make the viewers want to buy faster.
I know which one I would like to try: the caramel with nuts 🥜 yummy! 50% coco is great because most Chocolate 🍫 from the West is loaded with additives and sugar which often mars the taste.
You should have tried at least a piece - I know I would! Anyway, great video as usual
Wode Maya love how to promote black African businesses to the world. Big up yourself Wode Maya!
Wode, I need that shirt bro. Where can I get one?

Who else think wode Maya is changing so many lives in Ghana?
Imagine if 10 million Ghanaians are patronising this chocolate, within 6 months our sister can build a factory, and employ a lot of people. Let support our own.
@@franchettaajibola9154 Ajibiola I totally agree with you.
If you can be buying this chocolate when you are craving for Chocolate can help her for the business to grow.

sometimes pastures are greener because theyre sitting on a septic tank so it may be better to not think that.
There are 54 countries in Africa importing chocolate fro non cocoa producing countries made up mostly of refined ingredients and mostly sugar. African countries NEED to support each other, the market is on the continent. All the best and may the sky be the limit for her. Greetings from the Caribbean.
Zeff
@Hazman Rose pure sugar is on its way out...it's not really healthy to eat. Stevia and monk fruit is the future.
Awesome! 70% of the world's cocoa bean comes from Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, and Nigeria but none of these countries is top a chocolate producer. Our leaders have led us astray, we need more awareness like this to drive homegrown investments. Thank you Wode Maya.
Its really bad
@LEILA NABZ it's really sad. If we don't get leadership right, our growth will be very slow and painful.
I agree our governments are lazy and want to sell raw and get fast money, but, what are we young africans doing? Why don't we learn how to make the chocolate? Fine oil? Coffee products? Telephones.. Etc We have to start learning the important skills and get to work
@@MoRasheed
So many Africans know these things but the government have exclusive rights to raw materials. Some Nigerians refine oil locally and instead of the government training them further and licensing them, they are being hunted down by security agencies. Guess what? Nigeria doesn't refine her own crude oil.
Don't depend upon the government. Start a business and invest invest invest
Maya the Africa youth Ambassador ❤️❤️🇬🇭🇬🇭
Awwwwwwwwwwwww!
I’ve been saying this for far too long, a recognition from AU as a Youth Ambassador wouldn’t be bad.. Maya has really proven himself.. Always proud to see him.. Kudos! Champ

U ma'am u beautiful angolan woman
yep...is about time we start exporting the end product... not the raw products.this is amazing
Retailing network important too. I wish she could sell some of her product via Amazon, it would make them very easy to order.

This what Ghana and ivory Coast needs to do localisation
Most of the chocolate should be produced locally..Create employment for our own people....Bless up ...scale up and look into one district one 🏭
Frederick Acheampong Exactly! Bro I'm an African American and it upsets me to see the little return Ghana and Ivory Coast get in the chocolate industry despite contributing upward 70% of cocoa. I'm always looking for ways to help my brothers and sisters on the continent, but don't even know where to start with this.
Enter into partnership with local established brand or you can create your own brand in the motherland. Ghana cocoa is the premium type hence well sort after globally...You can call bioko for talks and see if you can be partner and expand..you never know good luck
Frederick Acheampong Preciate you brotha! Blessings from a brotha in the U.S.
✊🏾
You got the right mentality. Why shouldn't it start with you. It got to start somewhere. with somebody.
sylvester cayetano I thought that the other day. Honestly, there's some small part of me that feels like I have no place in African affairs or that Africa is not mine to claim despite being genetically African.😔 It's a process for many AA's just to come to grips with the idea of Africa being theirs as well. Even with my abounding love for her, and her people, it's still a struggle sometime.
A way to go Africa, don't stop keep moving.
LOCAL GHANAIANS CAN COLLABORATE WITH AFRICAN AMERICAN INVESTORS TO START EVEN BIGGER PROJECTS SUCH A FULLY FLEDGED FOOD COMPANY THAT CAN ADD VALUE TO NATURAL RESOURCES IN GHANA LIKE COCOA, COCONUT AND PALM OIL TO MAKE DELICIOUS TREATS FOR BOTH LOCAL USE AND FOR EXPORT TO VARIOUS AFRICAN COUNTRIES .

So you all heard and watched Wode Maya so if you're Diasporan and want to partnership you call the owner. How could Local people partner with African Americans if you don't first show interest?

Aliko Dangote has a sugar factory in Nigeria...maybe it would be cheaper to import from your neighbors.
Well done that a great business idea, Chocolate 🍫 are one of the most eaten snacks around the world and Ghanaian home made is just the perfect 👌 one.
With Ghana population around 30M, i predict in the next 20 years, it will be one of the best places to live in the world not just africa. It needs just small things to work, enforcement of law and a national agenda regardless of political party
Couldn't have said it any better: enforcement of law, national agenda regardless of political party. For the latter, I have the feeling that major stakeholders (chiefs/local authorities...) in the society should also join the movement. I just don't know how all parties could come up with such initiative; there needs to be agreement on certain issues (ex. Road safety and construction, sanitation:water and drainage systems, bribery...) every party should make sure to tackle once elected (+ of course other issues core to the party); these issues could change every now and then depending on how the country is improving... In short, there needs to be a "national debate/forum" to identify these issues...
Ghana is doing the right things now. It will only grow in power.
20 years? Nah. Now.
20 years a think that it’s too long. If you see this Chanel this start to already happen. More 5 years we going to see more content like this.
@@gmgnow sure bro, I wonder why it's become difficult for as, as country we are not persuring this course, we need one gander, civil society know, christian council know, islamic council know ,chef and so call kings know but still it's so difficult to do it.
all she needs is to partner with some investors and build a big factory to employ 100s...am happy we are starting to process our own raw resourses

One step at the time she is half way will get there Africa is raw and you don't pay much tax your business always thrive easily

Plzzzz Bioko is my favorite chocolate! I was even thinking about them yesterday. Plz they should ship internationally.
🤣🤣 Someone is having major cravings
When she was calling out the flavours I could almost taste it!! Passionfruit and mango is my favourite even though I haven't tried any of them yet 😂 Love the business ideas, farming definitely the way to go if you get good prices. Thank you MrGhanaBaby!
I happened to see an article a couple of times on Facebook that was saying the following: Africa produces more than 70% of world's cocoa but gets only 2% of the 100 billions of U.S dollars from the chocolate companies. So this is really a positive move and start.
Another great example of how the West has been taking advantage of Africans and their resources for too long...and then they wonder why we can't catch up with them in terms of development 🙄 We must put a stop to it and look out for our best interests...and we need good leaders who are not going to keep selling us out
True! But that's going to change soon. Ghana and Ivory Coast has teamed up to set the base price and Ghana is going to process most of our own cocoa, that's why all the Warehouses are going up in all regions.
@@gb6041 Wow that's great news! I'm praying for the day when Africans can trade solely amongst themselves and the diaspora, and not have to rely on the rest of the world who only take advantage of us...we can do it, after all God blessed us with all the resources we need...
@@maryannnkansa7145 The Continental Free Trade Agreement, with the Secretariat at Accra, is making way for African countries to trade freely among themselves, and that's a big step in the right direction.
@@maryannnkansa7145 the west has nothing to do with Ghana's inability to maximize revenues from the cocoa plant. The current policy of forcing the cocoa farmers to sell to the government at a fixed price was put in place by Kwame Nkrumah. That policy has made the farmers poor. Nkrumah was a communist who believed that the government must control the economy. Ghana is currently swapping bauxite for infrastructure w/the Chinese (instead of adding value), is that the west fault as well?
Is good to be home.
Here in South América se have a chocolate brand called Paccari, which only sells high percentage cocoa chocolates and hmmm the flavor! More bitter than milked chocolate but you really can feel how cocoa is an energizing food. Best wishes for Bioko chocolates
Shout yo ny south American germano u can purchase the bike chocolate

Guys watching we need to be able to process sugar and milk, so whoever has the capacity let’s bring it on. I am Nigerian and I support Ghana whole heartedly. I believe it would help the other African countries to wake up too. Ghana is leading the way and it is appreciated. We can and must do this🔥
If I am not mistaken, Dangote has a sugar refinery in Nigeria already, but I think it's not enough to go around the whole of the continent, that's why the foreign sugar producers are still dominant on the continent. We have to change this as we march on. Also with the question to the milk powder and the rest as well.
I live in America. I will support her business. Her flavors are different.
“It’s an even more exciting time to come back home, than when I did. It’s tough but it’s tough everywhere.” Our mother Jean Adjoa Donkor talks with such humility, very calm and her demeanor robbed on Wode Maya, Maya had to just tone down his energy and that’s very unique. Sugar free dark chocolate is my favourite! Chocolate is a natural antidepressant, I wonder if our sister produces raw cocoa as well... I love this. RUclipsrs in Africa can be the new networks for African businesses if we can promote businesses like this in our countries. It not only brings in consumers from the continent but encourages networking between business owners in Africa to either trade goods and services or even unionize to protect African brands on the continent. That way, we Africans can get the best from our land, be in the driver's seat and exhaust the human resources and capabilities first before looking outside the continent or to non-Africans.
