  • 'SECTIONED' A short bristol based documentary about my friend Finbar Herrity's struggle with mental health. Fin is a skateboarder from bristol who was diagnosed as psychotic and sectioned at Callington road hospital for six weeks. I made this Documentary for my final project of my degree at (UWE) to raise awareness of mental health issues. something often neglected within our society particularly amongst young men until it spirals out of control.

Hey, I met Fin a few years ago at Callington road hospital. Couldn't have met a nicer guy. I've still got some pictures of sketches he did. Much love Fin!!! Keep it up :) I'm not sure if he'd remember me but can you pass on this message. Sucks that I myself am still in hospital, currently in Wales. I've been in and out ever since I met Fin. People need to talk about Mental Health more. I talk through art. Anyway, that's it. Peace!

Well put together. Fin was very fortunate to have the parents he does. Could of been a different story otherwise.

I was sectioned for an acute psychotic episode as well. This video helped a lot when I was in recovery. Thank you so much.

super interesting. I had to deal myself with a similar mental issue in the past and everything exposed here is super accurate. Also skating helped (and still does) to keep the mind running at a slower pace. great documentary
