So short story, my computer crashed. I lost my files, but only some. I kept most of my animations. But it set me back a lot. But I'm hoping to start some different projects, that I think you all will like! :3c

Why does Tigerstar and Firestar's scars disappear?
they didn't disappear. I didn't animate them. I was on a huge time crunch with this part and dismissed smaller details.
Bluestar doesn't disappear, you can't see her from the angle of Tigerstar looking up. She hidden behind the rock. Thank you!

This looks absolutely flawless but... where did Bluestar go?

Fauna81 AJ They were talking about how Bluestar was next to Firestar in the first few frames and then she just randomly disappeared
Northflower OwO she lost frames, she had to redo some and probably forget bluestar was there
Northflower OwO jay said that bluestar didn't just disappear she is behind the rock bc of the different camera angle

But to my eyes it still looks like a part of her should be visible :P

Yes! I've been so excited for this! :D There's so much emotion here- I love how you can tell Tigerstar's dependent on backup as he swings around to look for aid. And Firestar in the last panel is wonderful, I think he looks much better from an angle like that instead of head on. Excellent work once again!

aaaaah damn jay I really love the texture on all the trees in the background! The colors contrast the characters very well! Really love the use of angles and expressions

Good use of dutch angles! The only critique I would have is that it would have been nice to end with Firestar lipsyncing the T in wait. Great job jay!!

I've been animating for a month now and I'm not too good, obviously because I don't have much experience, and I use a free animating app with my finger on my iPad mini to animate. King Cabbage animate for all the animation and photoshop for the backgrounds! owo
nice! Have you tried animating in PS? The way the timeline's set up is a bit clunky but it's almost worth it to be able to use PS brushes to draw with!
King Cabbage I haven't tried for a very long time, the timeline kinda confuses me, but I agree the brushes honestly probably make it worth it! ;u;
If you ever want something that is nicely in the middle, Krita has been impressing the pants off of me lately. It has a timeline much more like Animate's but with photoshop like drawing capabilities. It's still a bit buggy tho, but nothing that can't be worked around with a lot of saving >u>;;;;

hiya! I use the adobe cloud to make my videos. I use Adobe Animate as my actual animation program, and others to edit and do backgrounds! (all are listed in this video)
It's 220 a year for me, since it's the student discount, but normally it's around 600 i believe. If this is out of your budget, there's lots of other free alternatives out there! good luck!

Out of curiosity, about how many hours did this take you? You're a very skilled animator and I'm curious as to whether things get quicker the higher your skill level.
JustJimothy hmm this was MUCH quicker than most of my other MAP parts, since the movement was fairly simple and I had a tight deadline, but maybe 30 hours?
you DEFINITELY will get faster as you go! ;u; the more you draw, the better you get and the faster you can draw!

xJaystarzx AHHH THATS SO AWESOME! I don't see enough of Stormfur and Feathertail, they really had a good brother and sister relationship. Especially how it focused on Crowfeather after she died, it didn't focus on Stormfur's reaction.
